I mean, their latest models released arent bad. And I will take fewer updates over updates with bugs or the ones that slow down your device

Majority of Lenovo phones never got updates, and receiving one generation upgrade is already a miracle. Moto also did make a statement that they give one generation update (and they actually bragged about it). So don't expect anything more.

        And since this behavior has been stated and not new, the onus is on people who keep buying Motorola phones.

              It is beyond ridiculous that with how clean Android is on Motorola phones, it takes them that absurdly long to release new Android versions.

              While at it, bi monthly security updates, also a month too late (so stuff like october patch in november) on even their most expensive phones.

              Cheap and clean phones, but one must really fully accept the beyond lackluster update support and speed.

                My edge 30 pro got android 13 in august 2023, so i look forward to getting android 14 some time in 2025

                              Motorola has like 15 phones, Samsung has 3x that and they're basically done, only the A05s, A05, A04s, A04, A04e, M04 and F04 are left waiting.

                                They are late, again.

                                  Um..well, at least they are trying 🐿️

                                    Seems difficult for Motorola/Lenovo to process the fact that they have more than the current generation and a previous one. Only 2 generations of phones receiving updates, really?! In 2024 (for an update who others released in 2023), when companies promise from 3-4 major updates up to 7, really? That's the best the largest PC manufacturer can do for its phone business? They should stick to PCs then, where Microsoft handles their updates.
