And mind u only the pro and pro maxes sell well. And try reading some news to see how many s23 units got sold.

Cpt.Power, 25 Jan 2024Record start. Honestly rather would buy Oneplus 12 for ex... moreJust who in the world would even imagine you to use Samsung ☺️ Peace

pre-orders are always record breaking but actual sales turn out lower than expected and in the end Apple gets more sales, if Samsung reduced prices by 200 dollars for each S model then they'd all be viable and understandably priced. Half a year later they'll be cheaper anyways, they always sell less and complain about low sales and profit instead of targeting volume sales with good enough profits. Apple phones are different, yk iOS, so there's a USP. There's no USP of samsung phones now, all android phones are fighting for more features for cheaper like X100 Pro or the Oneplus 12, stellar phones considering the price. Google and Samsung just don't get it. It's easy to get good reviews for those phones, they're nice to use yes but 1200$+? Nope, everyone likes to forget that the Pixel 8 Pro starts at 1000$, very Pro of Google lol. Vivo selling the X100 Pro in india for the same price and providing 512 GB of storage is a stellar achievement I'd say, Oneplus sells the 12 for cheaper than the S24+ for both storages I believe. Very happy to see that. I wish them the best and hope to see this trend continue and trickle down to midrangers, getting even more features/power that is. Everyone deserves a good experience! Google imo is the king of upper midrange with the Pixel 7a. Google doesn't tap into their strengths of creating great cameras at any price range and well designed phones even for a midranger, no they just market their Pro models like they are the second coming of Jesus or something. Imagine if Google focused more on a Pixel 6a priced phone and another priced like the Pixel 7, the smartphone world would've been a better place and Google would've established themselves firmly as well. The Tensor chips are the kings at that price point too. I hope Google can understand their strengths and weaknesses and capitalize on that, there's great potential.

            Flickering is 492Hz.
What a miracle, after years of 240.

Gladly is not 90 like X100 Pro

Super phones so no surprise sales have started well. Other brands like Xiaomi should take note and try to improve their phones too instead of just giving minor upgrades year after year

For me it's ugly with the flat screen, the S23 Ultra feels more premium to hold and handle.
And I have base S23 as well which is flat but it's way comfortable and has better edges than S24 Ultra.
