The reason why Samsung maintains as numbe... moreI guess you didn't pay much attention on the current Chinese smartphone market, you can watch flossy carter' s video on YouTube, they improved their quality and design significantly nowadays. Maybe they still not as premium as Apple and Samsung phones, but they definitely don't look cheap at all, and they offer the one stop stopping (charger, case, even earphone) on some models.

          I was forced to use my Galaxy S9 in 720p settings to get 5 hours out of it.

            The reason why Samsung maintains as number one best selling Androids is because some people dont want to be seen using cheap looking chinese phone.

            Chinese phone looks cheap with unfamiliar inconsistency design and doesnt have popular brand image like samsung.

Screens today... morewell, if they never downgraded how would they have upgraded it back to 1440p and said "we're making it 1440p now haha the S24+ is such a huge upgrade right?!!", the battery's the same case, they downgraded it from 4800 mah in the S21+ down to 4500 mah in the S22+ and slowly increased the battery to make it look like they're improving lol what a joke they're copying what Apple did with the iPhone 11-13 series, 11 PM had a huge battery, 12 PM reduced it and had mid battery and then the 13 PM increased the battery and then everyone started raving about it because compared to the previous year it was a huge difference. Disgusting tactics to trick consumers.

                      Maybe there's something interfering with it

                              Ironically the units that sells the most is NOT the highest end smartphones

                              Most tech sites are out of touch with the fact that most people can buy the more affordable products within a series

                                Waiting for 24+ review before memory upgrade ends at 01.30. last Samsung that I owned was Samsung c100.

                                  i still don't understand the difference between LTPS and LTPO. s23 tests shows that all s23 variants' displays work 24-120Hz. none of them dial down to 1Hz in any case.

The screen es... moreany phone already has a thin bezel now days.. of course not some Samsung phones. smaller punch hole? That's because the tiny camera sensor that makes the hole is also tiny. Phones like Infinix have 50MP selfie cameras and the holes are not that big, and inside the top bezel it even has an LED flash.
