Samsung's svelte new S24+ is here and it's about as good as it gets.

My S24+ in this beautiful cobalt violet colour is arriving tomorrow!

Can't wait to play with it. I think this is the best colour too!

Hope these are the Exynos variants.

The 200mah increased battery isnt enough for the higher res screen. The ltpo (1-120hz)may help on that part, but i expect S23+ to have a slighty better battery life.

The design of the S24 and S24+ with a more ''iphone'' look is very nice overall.

Plus, the S24+ comes by default set to 1080p resolution and most people will never know that it can do more (and will never care because the screen is still very sharp - I have one).

What's the chipset in this review variant? Exynos or Snapdragon?

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2024Ridiculous S24 has 32% larger screen than S7, but lower res... moreThe ppi target of AMOLED is 450 ppi (300 for LCD because of different subpixel layout) which the S24 does not match. 1440p would be a solution even if a bit overkill. Some Chinese companies started using 1220p screens which are pretty close to 450ppi at sizes of about 6.7 inch. A more interesting approach in my opinion would be to shrink the successor of S24 down to around 5.8 inch while keeping 1080p, which would match the target and offer more variety than just big, bigger and biggest.

Should have never been downgraded to 1080p.
Screens today are much larger than phones from 2012-2016.
Regular S should be QHD too. Larger screen than s6/s7.
