Every year it shows incredible performance. I want incredible efficiency. I want better battery life and I don't want a 6000 mah battery to get it.

What raw computational power could be handy for: for main camera, 8K 30 fps has been achieved only recently (previously only 24 fps), and based on the reviews it seems that stabilization is available up to 4K only. For selfie cam, GSM Arena has been coy about this but real time beauty filter is also computationally intensive and AFAIK it's available up to 1080p only (on vivo midrangers at least).

If the flagship chips are this much faster, the sub-flagship chips should reach 2M points in AnTuTu 10 (Dimensity 8400 & Snapdragon 7 series equivalent).

I don't think anyone will benefit from even more power at this stage, unless onboard AI technology will spark the power race anew. We could use more power efficiency though, maybe it's time improvement touched that area more.

In real life mt helio 99 is more than enough. M6 pro is really fast phone.its almost on par with every high end soc.Only let down it's the OK cams.

More interested in NPU benchmarks as from now on, the race will be in ML/AI. In any case, next year will be more interesting. Nice.
