[deleted post]I'm not mad at the price. I'm mad at how locked down into Apple's ecosystem this is. How much would it hurt the paying customer to allow sideloading, easy transfer of files, and use without needing an iPhone?
I've already decided that a better use of my disposable income is to buy motorcycles, which is about equivalent to burning my wallet, but motorcycles are fun.

So let me get this straight: You first need an iPhone to buy the device at all, then you have to suffer with 1500% storage markups, all the while needing to go through iCloud to transfer any files, and you're locked down to an iOS-like app store? This is Apple's wet dream and a nightmare to me.

I cant imagine where they will have desktop chips in the Vision Pro.
Never mind the cooling of a desktop chips that be totally impossible to have in the Vision Pro.
Oh yeah and then lets talk about the power consuming that a desktop chip needs. You think there 3166mAh battery can really power up a desktop chip ?
Also the cost of a chip dont matter. It's not like Apple pays 200 bucks for a single chip when they order them made in millions. And there are no other brands or companies that can buy Apple chips so what does it matter how much the chip cost as they can set one chip cost what ever price they like.
It's not like Intel and AMD that have there chips in open market everyone to use and buy where we can talk how much the chips cost.
