Circle to Search will be exclusive to Google and Samsung devices for a long time

    But seriously this is something that other oems can add on their phones pretty easily. Just call it search anywhere or smth else. And make it activated by circling it with your knuckle or smth and you're golden. That's the beauty of android

          I don't care about circle to search and have no plans on ever using it.

            Looks like Samsung wants to kill Android and Google just doesn't care.

              It's just a timed-exclusive feature. Samsung developed this feature with Google. Don't be overdramatic.

                That's because Google basically paid Samsung to get them to keep using their services as Samsung was getting dangerously close to Microsoft.
                Samsung is the flagship Android phone maker, especially in the US where the Chinese companies are non-existent.

                Google absolutely needs Samsung to keep pushing Android and the Google services.
                If Samsung decided to include Microsoft services by default on their phones that'd be bad for Google as Pixel isn't big enough yet.

                That's why Google lets Samsung have exclusive features that other phone makers won't get.

                  What will we ever do without such a feature 😨

                    Seeing how this is Android, some dev is sooner rather than later gonna find a way to make it work on other Android devices too, unless it has something specific to do with Exynos/Tensor (which it probably doesn't since it also works in 8G3)
