Actually, I noticed blurry details in the GSM S24 review unit when comparing the low light photo to the S23 AND the S24+, so it seems to impact only the S24 based on what I saw in the sample low light photo of each. This is obviously relevant to the Exynos versions of the S24/S24+, which were the ones GSM reviewed.

The sample photos showed that high-frequency details such as grass are well preserved, whereas noises have been eliminated from flat-coloured areas including sky and distant building walls. This is a sign that they use very mature noise reduction algorithms.

I used my brain and concluded a long time ago that GSMArena's observation was very questionable and didn't reflect what the sample photos were showing. You, on the other hand, clearly didn't.

"Some of the flat surfaces look so squeaky clean that they are almost waxy in appearance. It's only visible from up close, but it's definitely an observation that stands out compared to the other cameraphones with 1-inch sensors."

"This is what you said, not that I don't have an S24, just that I don't have a Samsung, which isn't true. I also have a Note 10+, which is also not affected by this, which doesn't mean I can't have an opinion about it. This is the lame justification

Oh, and Samsung isn't a dream phone brand, maybe for you it is, I don't have any desire of buying any of their newer models."

On this ARTICLE Gsmarena final paragraph:

"We did not experience these bugs on our review unit Galaxy S24 and S24+ though we did notice more restrained processing with a more natural color rendition and some extra grain in certain shots.'

"Yeah, of course they provide long software support, and a lot of software updates with that, when their phones NEED a lot of software updates."

So basically for about the last 4 generations their camera quality hasnt been up to date or had issues and needed updates constantly to fix all year long, not had this with oppo and my find x5 or when i was using huawei, was only ever adding extra things never fixing the camera.

Is it the isp samsung use? (like the tensor chips that had issues with the camera, im guessing its the same isp).

Seems like everytime they launch a product there is some type of bug. Why can't they test their devices privately, to handful of executives to test it. Its like they rush to meet the deadline and "figure out a patch" after numerous people complain. Samsung dissapoints me.

No dxomark article for S24 Ultra since it only placed 18th on the ranking? 😂😂😂

Its crazy to me how people want Vivid mode to wash out their $1500 panel and the camera to make every photo look deep fried. The average android consooomer is so gulible man. Have you tried looking outside? Why would you want a less accurate screen?

This is coming from somebody who owns a S24U
