Energizer P28K with 28,000 mAh battery coming at MWC

07 February 2024
The largest battery ever fitted on a smartphone.

DarlingYext, 07 Feb 2024There is no point in such large battery when the phone like... morejust get a 10000mah power bank, its slimmer, and you can use it on a plane
all without sacrificing camera/performance/functionality and probably cheaper

This just reminds me of that SpongeBob episode

"How many times do have to teach you a lesson old man!"

    Back at it again energizer

This is so good for hikers. You need to carry one brick instead of a brick and a phone.
Should have been 27000mAh for planes.

This went really well last time they pitched a colossal battery phone.

It's funny they mentioned "Product pending Energizer final approval"

Anyone else remember the Power Max P18K Pop?

That was a literal brick and Energizer tried to fund it via Indiegogo and failed massively.

Funny that they're making a sequel now.

Energizer with this again? The 18k failed and they thought it was because they needed another 10k? lmao

Ah, a classic marketing bit. I won't be suprised if they decided to cancel the phone as they did with P18k.

There is no point in such large battery when the phone likely isn't going to be optimized as well as something from the bigger brands, that's said it's also just simply too much because you won't be able to fly with it.

Ridicoulosly heavy brick with slow charging is all this is gonna be, because even with 200W charging support this would take hours to fill up, or ultimately it ends up being nothing, but a cancelled product.

It exceeds 100 Wh though (28 Ah x 3.7V). Can you fly with it?

It has a battery for 3 lives and it doesn't run out hahaha

Just like those 18.000 mAh, it is never going to see daylight.

So, technically this is really a powerbank with smartphone functionality :D

                                Finally Brick have some competition
