If Google were to go to Qualcomm for their chips or modem or anything, it' might become a big disadvantage for Mediatek. I'm not sure how though - I'm just speculating.

How can you have access to every single piece of US tech and still dish out a "2024 flagship" chipset with performance similar to the Kirin 9000s?

If the Tensor G1 is a rebranded Exynos 2100, the G2 is a rebranded E2200, the G3 is a rebranded E2300 and the G4 is supposedly a rebranded E2400, then thus can't be right.

Switching from exynos to snapdragon would increasing BoM by more than $100.
There is no way google goes back to qualcomm.
