Tell me, where I can buy original battery?

punmeisterone, 12 Feb 2024Google Services don't come on the Chinese units becaus... moreActually, Google services is preinstalled even on chinese ROM. It works when you select european region in chinese ROM. Maybe you'll need to install play store apk.

Phone Critic, 12 Feb 2024That's all BS First of all Xiaomi 14 Pro is actuall... moreIf you really believe the Xiaomi 14 ultra will be €1049 in Europe for 512/16 then you are completely delusional. The Xiaomi 13 ultra was €1,500. That is completely impossible

Although I don't like Apple, I would recommend buying an iPhone instead of this.

rosesarerosie, 12 Feb 2024Nah, ain't no one will be buying it for this much Imp... moreThe Chinese version doesn't support European languages and most Europeans can't speak English. Also doesn't support some key European bands like band 20. This will generally not be a problem in urban areas but in many rural areas in Europe you may end up being stuck on 3g or 2g. I think you'd be much better off either buying a model officially available in Europe or importing a phone from a different brand that supports key European languages and bands e.g. for cheaper than the Xiaomi 14 you could import an Oppo find x7 which supports most key European bands and has better language support and a global warranty. If you want a Xiaomi phone in Europe, then for most people it's better to buy a global model

Expensive! nobody.osgara more than 1000 for a Xiaomi, that's what the iPhone is for and in second place Samsung, it's not because Xiaomi will be a bad brand, but because of the bad reputation that they have given themselves...

Aierlan, 12 Feb 2024No it's not. The Oneplus 12 direct from Oneplus seems ... morethat's for sure, it's still cheaper than Samsung, Apple, Sony, Asus etc

Wouldnt take this at face value even though yes the Xiaomi 13 sold for 999 on their own website it was available at third party retailers for 799 at the same time.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2024As expected, the Pro variant didn't make the global cutBecause most people will buy either the Vanilla or the Ultra versions, much like in the case of Samsung's offerings.

There for Pro variant will not leave China.

Marco M, 12 Feb 2024They have to bake in not just the cost of additional Europe... moreGoogle Services don't come on the Chinese units because Google Services as a whole are banned by Beijing.

Nah, ain't no one will be buying it for this much
Importing is the way to go

Wesker, 12 Feb 2024I'm sorry, EUR 1099 for the 16/512 ?? The 16/512 Xiao... moreThey have to bake in not just the cost of additional European VAT and higher shipping costs, but more expesive storage and other retailer costs and the additional cost of warranty offerings in Europe. Both pricier for each repair, but also completely different warranty periods. In my country it is 5 years mandatory warranty by law. That costs money and must be partially included in the sale price of each device.

Also, in China the phone doesn't come with google play, but Xiaomi's own app store. While not certain it is used to lower the price of devices sold, I do indeed think this helps Xiaomi a lot in terms of revenue per device. Perhaps it means less cost built into the sale price for after sales support and software development. As they continuously earn money from the use of the device. Just like apple with iphone and google with any device running google android. Lots of money coming in from the use of the devices, not just the initial sale of the unit.

rizki1, 12 Feb 2024that's very cheap for big storage..No it's not. The Oneplus 12 direct from Oneplus seems to cost €1049 with 16gb and 512gb of storage in Greece. It is available for €999 in some other European countries. This price is more expensive despite overall weaker hardware. Of course who knows if that is the real price but it's definitely not cheap. On the expensive side. Xiaomi is always overpriced a little in Europe for their flagship series

That would be a massive mistake of Xiaomi, if that price turns out to be true.
I handled the phone in China recently, and it's fantastic and all... But knowing it costs almost DOUBLE the price to get an international version? No thanks.

Phone nerd, 12 Feb 2024I dont get why someome would pay flagship money for a xiaom... moreExcept that Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision streaming which on the go is actually pretty nice compared to the less supported HDR10+ and generally lacks somewhat behind in the camera department compared to chinese competitors for the most part.
Still good cameras and pretty great phones in general but not the best given they cost way more than chinese phones on average.

iPhones are good for people who either are already in Apple's ecosystem or don't care about less customization and a locked system that offers less than a open Android based phone while again costing way more.

The exception these days for chinese phones is Xiaomi which raised prices a lot since early 2021 and just isn't quite worth it anymore in any segment. The last truly great device they put out was the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Pro Max in India) which was allround just a solid phone and hard to beat for less than 300€/$. Everything that came after be it Poco, Redmi, or main Xiaomi was overpiced or lacked in other areas like the cameras in the low budget segment.

So unless you plan to use your phone more than 4 years which most people just don't do, why buy heavily overpriced Samsungs or iPhones if one can get equal or better devices from chinese manufacturers for less money?

High price, but if you want a 6.3 compact sized phone, then its either this or the S24. Possibly a new Zenfone if coming. I got the S24 Ultra and its way too big and heavy TBH. Looking for replacement.

Phone Critic, 12 Feb 2024That's all BS First of all Xiaomi 14 Pro is actuall... moreYeah? And how do you know? It's literally confirmed that the Pro won't leave China

But yeah, I can get vivo x100 pro for that price with 16/512 GB variant.

Wesker, 12 Feb 2024I'm sorry, EUR 1099 for the 16/512 ?? The 16/512 Xiao... moreIt's very possible. If VAT is 20% and duty fee is 30%, add into the equation the cost of transport and voila you can easily get to 499 plus.
