LCD is better than Amoled, no "black clipping" in movies... and no problem with "burn in"!
Active looks a lot better that regular S4, removable battery and expandable storage and still waterproof is fantastic, watch and learn Sony!

What about ANT+ ? I'd like change my old Xperia Active, to newer phone, but I need device with ANT+ for connection with my bike and garmin heartmeter.

Look, they put on a removable battery on s4 active and its water resistance . Thats why samsung is such a great manufacturer.
1st they gave original s4 a removable battery which is only 7.9 mm slim. i dont think any other company has the guts engineering that way and even sony xperia couldn't give a removable battery. hats off

This article never mentioned that it has a removable battery. If this is water proof, it's definitely non removable battery.

I think everyone is missing the point.
I bought a S4, 6 weeks ago and it's quite expensive, does Samsung expect me to fork out another fortune on the S4 Active. isn't the S4 Active the phone that the S4 was supposed to be from the start?
In the end we're just the consumer...
I'm extremely happy with my S4, best phone I've ever handled.

There is no need to fight over who copied whom. The Xperia Z is better looking while the S4 has a better performance. It is all about what do you prefer.
I have a Xperia Z and a friend of mine the S4. Both are great phones and deserve respect.

Sony and Samsung are the best Android oems around, it's good that we have more choices of water resistant rugged type smartphones. Personally, I would prefer the S4 active due to its specs and build.

Whenever a model comes I always become the first to buy among my friends. With a lot of excitement I purchased s4 spending 800 $. All features of s4 admired me except telephony performance. It gets messed-up while managing calls, sms, speech volume.
