    I literally have said AI based tools and have defined whether or not they belong to AI or just machine learning. AI for what you mentioned (et, extra terrestrial, medical research) are also simply machine learning going through very huge set of data and nothing generative.
    You are just beating around the bush to hide your naivety.
    My suggestion, kid? Don't leave school unless you learn how to read and comprehend.

      Anonymous, 18 Feb 2024AI is for lazy ass people and people who are "don'... moreLol, what it has to do with soul? AI can perfectly mimic creating greatest arts, because it no need to have soul or creativity it only needs to learn about every music or every popular art, and by computational power in seconds it would create new music or art based on it, which is already doing in. Soul has nothing to do with it's capabilities or the lack of it, the information processing and access to vast majority of database it's the only thing needed to rival human in creating stuff :) even creators are not save, sorry to tell you that. Every creator is inspired by somebody and base their creation on that's inspiration, AI will base their creation on thousands or millions of somebody else's work, it's same shit just going to be more efficient and faster in doing it, than any creator on the planet 😜 the only question will be about morals and ethics. As creators indeed will lose their jobs

          We are entering an era when human become more dumb stupid than previous generation .

            iA = intelligent Artificiality.

              AI is not there yet. The Google and Samsung Image processing AI tools are gimmicks: looking great at the first glance but upon closer inspection one can see tons of artefacts.
              And even real time translation is light-years away from "Star Trek"-like "universal translator" device capabilities.
              Flagship camraphones use plenty of AI upscaling of oigitally zoomed images. Just look what the AI does with written words in such 30x or 100x zoomed images: it transforms them into illegible hieroglyphs.

                  Deepprime is just breaking down the raw file to remove noise. I haven't noticed any artifacts with it and actually prefer it.
                  Deepprime xd on the other hand is noise removal + regeneration. This mode analyses adjoining pixels to regenerate and fill missing data. I have noticed what you have mentioned in this mode and use it only on certain subjects.

                  So, it isn't all bad. I am able to shoot photos with my very old canon powershot G9, at ISOs I could not even think of before. It has a 35-210mm lens and suddenly it became very relevant to me as it smokes away modern cell phones by lens quality alone. The noise performance is no longer relevant.

                      AI tool = plug-in
                      Generative AI = AI (AI that can create something for you)

                      You definitely confused or simply don't understand. My suggestion, go learn more. Don't simply rely on plugs in in Photoshop to do some effect 🙄

DxO's deepprime AI noise reduction is incredibly helpful in cleaning up very high ISO images. Topaz or Adobe's sharpening AI can fix blurry photos to an extent and save yourself in case you did a a slight mistake. Adobe Super resolution or topaz gigapixel AI does an incredible job of upscaling images.

                          Now whether you can call them AI is another thing, but going by this article they definitely are.

Apart from that, merging or creating a symbiosis with Ai will not really make us lazy but will make us turn into super-intelligent humans so we will be able to do most intellectual tasks in a mere fraction of a second, judging on how fast our electronics & technology nowadays, this is not impossible but mostly probable in the near future. Ai will be more likely to be expansively rephrased into "Advanced Intelligence" rather than just "Artificial intelligence" because we need to have Ai built-in or implanted in our brains, not just a service-robot or tech-entity separated to us humans.
