There were browsers available (and sold at a price) before Microsoft even created Internet Explorer. When Microsoft bundled IE into Windows it effectively killed their competition, that was demonstrably ahead of Microsoft before that move. That is why they got a fine.

        The mobile world was never like this. Nokia, Ericsson, Apple, Windows CE/Mobile, Android, they all always bundled a browser and that was the market standard from the get-go. No single entity abused their power to kill any competitor in their platform, it just so happened that all competitors had their separate platform, and everyone was happy with things being this way.

That is not to say you'll have many alternatives (it's mostly AOSP vs. Google proprietary), but the point is nothing is keeping anyone from making and deploying an alternative to the end-user.

Very few hypercars are developed outside of Europe, that should already tell you something. The R&D for the pinnacle of motorsport is almost entirely done in Europe. Even in the more "mass production" stuff, I see many cars from all over the world "borrowing inspiration" from their European counterparts, so European manufacturers *must* be doing something right.

            With this said and the consolidation of auto manufacturing groups, I hope most realize how truly stupid it is to have these sort of nationalist pissing contests: everyone is getting something from all over the world, be it Europe, Asia, America -- literally, where ever.

Well, the fact that they are mns and stuff got way out of head in europe while security got down the drain is another problem...

First off all, EU means European Union, while Europe is bigger then that. For example Ucraine and Switzerland are countries in Europe, but not in EU. Second of all, europe cars do not innovate? Only because others steal europe innovations does mean that those others invented them.

Firefox, tough is one of those that does not use webview, it uses it's own web engine, so nope android does not behave the same here.

                      Doesn't Android do this with Webview? I can't put another one or change it on my phone without root.

                        I use progressive web apps sometimes, but I got android tho. Now it feels more premium...

                                  They'll get sued again and again. There's no any reason for EU to allow additional profit to go to the US monopoly at the expense of app developers

                                  Either Apple will stop selling Iphones in EU altogether, or it will have to accept that it's "closed ecosystem" tricks won't work in Europe
