Galaxy F15 5G teaser images leak, reveal a 6,000mAh battery and promise 4 OS updates

19 February 2024
That's up from 2 updates on last year's F14 (keep in mind that these are budget devices). The rest of the features will be based on the Galaxy A15 5G.

Not that I have any problem with long OS update, but it's just that new OS update for non-flagship Samsung phones haven't always been the best of experience.

justasmile, 20 Feb 2024Nice! Wondering if the display is LCD or AMOLED thoughmost likely PLS LCD. i feel like they reuse the same screen from a05s.. still reasonable. i doubt the reuse the same component from f14 like battery as well.

2mp 'helper' is just another buzzword of depth sensor. scratch that and replace the 5mp uw with 12mp ones.
let the image processing software do the bokeh.

Great that Samsung is promising longer software support for dimensity as well. Managing testing and updates for several devices across various price points, across generations across 3 different chipset providers is truly enormous and should be appreciated.
Seems Android has reached a point where newer versions can be tested and deployed faster and easier.

This is a good trend that cheaper phones are getting longer software updates. Good job Samsung. 4 years for entry level, 7 years for flagship.

Once again the gimmick "triple camera" setup. It would've been much better if they gave one good main camera and one good macro but they insist on fooling buyers
