Dude, read my comment again! In November those phones were already released, meaning they were announced earlier.
Note 2 was announced in August, not to mention SGS 3. Nokia knew in advance what the competition has, or will bring, but still they could not bring comparable CPUs because of the WP8 limitations.

*Facepalm* Dude, the phone was already "announced" in September and A MONTH later, phones announced with quad-core processors. So by your logic, what Nokia announced in September, they have to stop the supplies and concentrate NOW on making quad-core processors and then to optimize their software for quad-core chips. It would take some months, then in December, lets suppose they would be going to announce their 920 with quad-core. Then again, 1080P screens released by many manufactures, then again, they will stop their supply and start focusing on 1080P display and optimizing their internal software and hardware for 1080P and when going to throw it out in the market, another thing of the same sort released by manufacturers so they again had to stop the supply and so on... Your post doesn't make any sense.
Windows Blue update is already going to be announced in this summer so I believe 1080P will be on the WP later summer, earlier in Q1.

Why you're both wrong! Two years old CPU's came with 512MB of RAM at most, if not 256. They can't run newer apps because those apps need 1GB of RAM.

People will always complain about choice! when Nokia offer something like 808 which is a good phone and camera they complain about too much megapixel and that compact digital + feature phone is better than 808.
808 proved that it can take great photos and better than many cheap compact cameras, and the last version of Symbian (Belle) is actually good if you don't mind using another OS than the one you are used to.
Now Nokia probably offer the same great camera for a different OS, if you don't like, that's fine, just move on, you don't need to be upset about it, you know ... it's just phone.
But what is the point of writing all this? none! people treating consumer companies like they treat football clubs, i don't get.

AnonD-134497, 06 Jun 2013You are making yourself look like smart which you really ar... more"Don't fool yourself, what Nokia offered, it was on September last and none of the devices at that time were a quad-core with 2 GB of RAM excluding S3".
Look on the GSMArena Nokia Lumia 920 page. The phone was ANNOUNCED in September, RELEASED in November.
In October there were already released quad-core Krait and 2GB of RAM phones. LG Optimus G, LG Nexus, Asus PadFone 2 and Note 2 for example. SGS 3 was released way earlier, in June 2012.
And in December 2012, there were already 1080p phones released in the market.
But anyway, the safest bet for this Nokia EOS would be dual Krait(better than quad core cortes A7 Snapdragon 400) like Lumia 920, but only 1 GB of RAM and 720p screen. I don't think it will have 2 GB or RAM and 1080p screen since WP8 does not support that yet, and maybe it will support it only from December onwards, the earliest. I don't think Nokia will announce now a phone that will be released in December, so there it is: Nokia EOS will have a dual Krait CPU, Adreno 320, 1GB of RAM, 720p screen( 768X1280 pixels from the latest leak). Do you want to carry that phone next year?

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2013Taking awesome pictures? everyone's cup of tea? how about a... more"how about a DSLR, or maybe a pocket-able digital camera" - this reasons are so funny, why don't you guys get it? everyone is free to get whatever suits him best, but by your logic, why don't you get a DSLr for photos? A gps for navigation? A tablet/laptop for watching videos? A feature phone for talking and sms? and so on...Nokia 808 has proven that point&shoot are going down faster than blinking and you have it all the time with you. No one in their right minds will tell you that this can replace the equipment of an proffesional, but for the average consumer which is in a larger proportion than pros it's just amazing to take such good pics with...a phone, not needing to carry extra devices with you. Lots of places I've been I took only 1 device-phone, instead of 3(phone, camera, GPS) and if this technology comes at the same price as competition's, then excuse me and maybe others that I choose it over the billions instash!gram apps I would find on lagdroid...

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2013Tall phone please... no fat phones.
Nokia like to make f... moreYou mean tall phone like S3 or S4 made out of plastic. So you can make it thick bulky phone using a protective cover and make it hard to fit in your hand. That is the reality though.
It is a fact that L920 is thicker than other flagships. But They have overcome it with L925. However it's also fact that most people buy S3/S4/Note2 use it with a huge protective cover. But I hardly see Nokia users have a leather case covering it. May be a protective sticker or something like that would do for Nokia.

Nokia you still have a customer that own the first Nokia Communicators (count it as a loyal buyer) as well as others Smart phones later. Get it to the market as soon as possible before SamSung S4 Zoom take the market away from you and we switch to Samsung S4 Zoom, because its too long to wait. Better be in Android too as well as W* as a choice. Better their hardhead executives learn from the market
