On one hand, you are right, there is nothing a current CPU can do and not a two- year old one. On the other hand, a two- year old CPU can't handle the multitasking as good as a new one. So it's only natural as phones evolve, for newer better CPU's to appear. If there was no difference at all, they wouldn't make them.

Finally something for all of us who want a monster camera phone but don't want to suffer through the agonies of Symbian.
I was kind of hoping Nokia would have tapered the back to hide the bulge somewhat, though. Ah well...

AnonD-50083, 06 Jun 2013The guy is so deluded that he thinks everyone has to buy in... moreTaking awesome pictures? everyone's cup of tea? how about a DSLR, or maybe a pocket-able digital camera? I mean, this phone probably cant even do an optical zoom, and oh yeah, expensive phones are not "everyone's cup of tea", you can pay less for a decent digital camera+mid or low ranged phone......"why carrying two device when you can carry only one?" reason 1: you can spend less money, reason 2: digital camera can be better (canon or even sony), reason 3: digital camera is not heavy......again,expensive or high end phones are not "everyone's cup of tea", that's my point

An other big brick from Nokia..
it will weight 200g for 4,5 inches display and giant bezels.
Why the hell put 41 MP on a phone?
people wants something fast, a lot of apps and games, good battery and GOOD OS! not flat with horrible tiles.

Nokia must turn to be a Camera manufacturer..but there with all the competition that they'll have Canon, Nikon & co they will do bankrupt quicker :D

Have you ever even lifted it? If you got an ipad or tablet or a phablet, than my friend, your complaining is just like you are a follower of what other trolls post. If they don't find any cons with this phone, they start their trollism towards weight etc. It's not that heavy if you are a man.

Dude :))) Nokia uses an A-grade Polycarbonate plastic in their phones which is better than any plastic phones out there. Your criticizing comment is irrelevant from this article.

There is not even ONE important thing a latest CPU and GPU phone can do that a "two year old" one can't do. All of this becomes only important in playing absolute latest games, which only a relatively small number of young users would care about. Taking AWESOME pictures though? That's everyone's cup of tea.

It's hard for him to do a simple math.

X , 06 Jun 2013So let me guess. You don't care paying in December for a tw... moreYou are making yourself look like smart which you really aren't. You have to agree with me on this one. WindowsPhone8 is a completely new Operating system, having a newly developed Kernel, from WindowsPhone7 right? So if it's a completely new OS, then it should come up with just a single core processor clocked below a GHz and had a RAM below 512 MB. That would be the most of it's spec if it's just launched? Don't fool yourself, what Nokia offered, it was on September last and none of the devices at that time were a quad-core with 2 GB of RAM excluding S3. Therefore, you can't call it an outdated phone at the time of release. Today, it is outdated. Why it wouldn't be? It's already an year old phone so IT SHOULD be outdated. Hmm, but I guess you still prefer to troll when once being logically trolled right? :))))))
