It worked with older note and SGS2 but not Note 2, SGS3 or SGS4.

Even 16gb isn't enough by today's standards . 32 GB should be the bare minimum for flagships since what you get is actually 20 something. Till now only the 16gb version is available for the S4,which doesn't suit a flagship phone. Also micro SD slots must be available on phones that offers scarce internal memory such as the nexus4

It wouldn't be too bad if they gave people the option of buying 32GB and 64GB phones but these are scarce as hens teeth.

It's NOT Samsung that took out "Apps to SD"
It was Google. It started with ICS to not support it. Because some ppl don't use good speed and quality SD cards.

The move to SD was available on the SGS2 and the Note. They removed it for some stupid reason from the SGS3 and note 2.

Hopefully they bring back move to SD on the Note 2 as well.

                                        Thanks,Samsung after a long gaps !
till date all Galaxy Tablets/most high end smartphone recognised micro SD Card as USB storage.
Applications /videos never able to moved to SD card directly (SD Card remain useless without DeskTop helps).
