The quad 50MP cameras with Leica lenses bring notable improvements over last year's Ultra, but perfection doesn't come cheap.

Xiaomi 14 ultra is just over hyped product. You can watch most of the Chinese mobile reviewer videos.

    Well along with oneplus 12 and Honor Porsche design plus a Huawei phone with 5G tech this going to be best flagship of the year.
    At least user gets all necessary accesories in box and a 2024 tech unlike Samsung or Apple just phone and the box and the dark age of cavemans charging speeds with laughable tiny batteries in so called flagship phones.

      If a phone in 2024 has 10mp sensor 1/3.5" tele it's not high end phone.
      High end phone has 50mp 1/2" - 1/1.5" tele.

          a Best CameraPhone to me should have 1:1 to the printed Photo, of 5R Photo / 8.6".

          this is too small, not representative.

            For this ultra flagships these need ultra money too. Xiaomi should tell us how to get them. Too expensive + here in india xiaomi's update & after sales
            policy is worst. Too Risky & expensive for me. PASS
            i advice everyone should check out update & after sales service in their respective region. Better crosscheck before putting your hard earned money.

              so you're saying if samsung were to sell $3k phone with SD 6 gen 1 and 12mp 1/3" cameras you'd be interested simply because it's a samsung?

                we can see that showme sells much cheaper in africa and south east asia because there the profit margin is deliberately lowered because most people salary is only $300 a month on average meaning they can barely afford a midranger with their hard earned money while european "people" can go €800 a month that's crazy high, this mean that show me can set higher price margin there

                let's see that india price is close to ze china price because of da thing I sayd before, let's not forget you get free tablet mi pad 6 if you buy it early (worth 300 eur)

                    I'll wait for the full review to come in. The 13 Ultra is still a hugely capable smartphone with a hugely capable camera hardware to own in 2024.

                        It is way too expensive compared to what competitors offer.

                          Missing crucial network bands to be a GLOBAL phone. Hard pass.

                            Im pretty sure alone the latest flagship SoCs are upwards of £200-300 per unit, thats not taking in to account the thousands of workers from desk jobs to designers and the hundreds of roles they have in the company.

                            I dont agree with company tax (brand recognition/royalties etc) but flagship phones pricing is what you're going to get till parts/components drop in price (we forget we were in a worldwide pandemic couple years ago and companies did suffer).

                            My advice, wait till the £1000+ flagships drop in price (i got my find x5 used in perfect condition for £400, was only released about 4 months earlier), still using it and its running perfect.

Nothing in... morebuy the 14 or 14 Pro then, it's their true flagship as the Ultra series is pretty much luxury phone, same as S24 Ultra. Also the reason why European price is so expensive is because of the tax that in everywhere else except EU Xiaomi phone cost almost 50% less.
