          After seeing €1000 for the 14 I feel like a fool for hoping for so many months it'll replace my P30. I thought €520 in China would translate to sub-€750 in Europe but no, Xiaomi had to push their luck.
          Feature-wise, the 14 is THE only phone since 2019 that's a worthy replacement for the P30 but price-wise... nah. I'm not ever paying that much for a phone that can be lost for any reason at any time. I paid €500 for my P30 4-5 mo. after launch, in Aug-2019. Maybe I'll wait 6 months to see where prices go but I'm already massively turned off as by that time the 14 will be 1 year old and it'll only have 4 years of security updates left while the S24 will barely be 6 mo. into its 7 years of security update support, it's already nearly €750 now let lone then and that will probably be enough to make me finally forget about its Exynos and no-aptX problems.
          The price of the 14 is so inflated it managed to be a bigger insult than Sony's prices and that's a massive feat.

            1500 means this thing is DOA

                Less than 4800mAh

                €1000 for base version is too much.

                      1600 dollars for a Xiaomi to stay stuck on the same version of Android as many 13 ultra users are, who at this point have not received Android 14, not the tutrbo hyper mega os!! nahhhh more than 1000 dollars on android means going to samsung and maybe google when it has a decent SOC and more than 1000 you know where that money goes, to a certain apple
