Report: Apple's folding device taking shape, isn't an iPhone

The report corroborates that Apple won't be ready with any folding device before 2026.

Well since Vision pro is 3500 without many important accesories and a lot of technical and other issues litterary 3500 for a complete unfinnished product i suggest this folding thing will cost no less than 5000.

    My 1st exs dad years ago who developed software decided to have a crack with ipads and ios ecosystem, he had issues just booting the device up. My exs iphone 13 ran worse than my find x5 and had issues with apps hard crashing all the time. My mates current iphone 12 i think has screen issues, instantly puts calls down 1st time you ring him, starts tone dialing with the screen locked while on a call, battery is horrendous (like most iphones after a year).

    The only device of apples ive not seen any issues with is my mates 5k pro XDR display or whatever its called, thats only apple device ive seen thats not had some issue somewhere.

      potato4k, 24 Feb 2024It won't be a phone.Unless you work in a very high position in apple and know this as fact then dont bother lol. Even rumors here say they arent sure if its part of their tablet portfolio or mobile phone portfolio.

      Just because its not an iphone doesnt mean they will go down this route and we all know apple loves making rubbish up and arrogantly saying things (when they brought oled screens to iphones they did the same thing, using other brand screens yet classing theirs as the best/revolutionary). So yes, they will proclaim it to be "revolutionary" for that market when it has been done for the past 10 years.

                        They don't need to fold the ipad. Just get rid of the ipad mini6 super boarder then we can put it in our pocket. Android fold also is a joke, they just need to copy Huawei mate 20X and update it with new chipset, bigger battery and 1inch camera.

                          And it’s my hope that Apple stays well clear of foldable tech until those issues are sorted, don’t care if it takes another 5 years.
