A device not costing a lot doesn't make it bad, but this is just plain bad. It's horrific marketing. You can buy infinitely better camera phones for like 100$ more, and nothing beats a used v60 in audio quality.

Anonymous, 29 Feb 2024Nubia phones with Unisoc did not known what audio quality i... more48khz is DVD quality. which is enough for casual listening. even iphone 6s uses 44.1khz which is CD quality. the chip they put is just lackluster. sc9863a's built in dac is horrendous. it sounds like you are putting a phone speaker directly onto your ear. no matter how good your headphones or earphones are, they still sound so thin. i think putting helio g99 makes more sense than putting low end unisoc that are designed for ultra cheap devices. yet they have the audacity to retail at $150!!! 😭😭😭 the dual 3.5mm jack feels wasted at this point.

Before all of you judge the Unisoc T820 and T760, it has almost the same CPU configuration found on Snapdragon 855:
4x A76 + 4x A55 (T760)
1x A76 + 3x A76 + 4x A55 (T820)
Not just the typical 2+6 Helio G99s out there. Its GPU is SD695 level. I can run Yuzu on my Nubia Neo which has the T820 and play Pokemon Sword at 30fps in 360-520p resolution. It can also run AAA games smoothly like CODM, Genshin, Tower of fantasy, Summoners War Chron., Farlight etc.
Buy and try the device first before judging. Your lame Helio G99 can't even run any emulators like Yuzu.

At last a brand thinks of a music phone and large speaker... too bad it is chinese, and very low specs. Hopefully it will give Samsung an idea to improve their phone with better speaker.
My LG GM200 Brio from 2009 was a music monster with its bass woofer !

Nubia phones with Unisoc did not known what audio quality is.
I experienced using Unisoc phones for a year and its chipset is T606 and SC9863A. My complain is the 3.5mm jack when playing music, bass is quite thinny. Which I did not like the dynamic range 3.5mm sound quality of T606 and SC9863A. Using Bluetooth or USB DAC built-in/dedicated makes better than 3.5mm.
Don't get me wrong, I played the music side by side with Mediatek Helio P22/G37 and Unisoc T606/SC9863A on both has the 3.5mm headphone jack. The results is quite different, where the Mediateks have the better sound quality of 3.5mm audio jack than Unisoc in the same 3.5mm audio jack.
When it comes to Hi-Res feature, Unisocs was using a standard CD audio. Supporting up to 16bit, 48kHz audio on the 3.5mm headphone jack. Which is eh..
As for Nubia with a Unisoc processor, I think I can't claim with it with the same experience in Audio of using Unisoc phones in other brands.

I am so done with anything but Xperia being marketed towards professionals. So you're telling me that a "professional" is gonna prefer a 1/1.67" sensor, undoubtedly riddled with horrendous processing and a RAW capture mode that isn't even RAW, over a real camera? Okay buddy. What a joke. Even Samsung, of all the bs marketing companies, put a better camera in their latest flagship. Just as much bs processing but it's a far more usable sensor size. This phone is a joke. If it was truly "professional" it would either have great video quality for influencers wanting a stress free video experience (samsung/apple) OR be able to work in tandem with a dedicated camera as an external monitor/recorder.
The "music" phone is even more of a joke. No one in their right mind thinks a louder phone speaker is gonna be any better for listening to music - they're all crap. The dual headphone jacks are a gimmick considering the subpar display quality and likely horrendous audio quality.
I don't like what phone makers do half the time anyways, but sheesh this is a joke to rival all jokes.

Nubia makes such weird decisions. This main camera on Focus and Focus Pro is (at least on paper) way better than what they put in their flagship Red Magic and Z60 Ultra. One of the reasons I went with Samsung this year is that Red Magic keeps the poor cameras for so long.

Having two headphone jacks is ultimately rare for a (flagship) smartphone.
Having an inferior chipset is a common mistake for smartphones for budget users.
