Weekly poll results: the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is a hit, a pricey hit

03 March 2024
While not a massive improvement over the 13 Ultra, this is shaping up to be one of the best camera phones of 2024. That price is out of reach for many, however.

When the eu rom for it I then pick the Chinese version with the eu rom it have more features like baked in call recorder etc and then I kick my S24U out of the door for sure.
It will be released in my country Denmark (Europe) to, but still for me the nonglobal version is the best... Tradingshenzhen.com will for sure get it. Better version better price what's not to like 🤘🏻

The camera of S24U is a....for you only.

NickValok, 03 Mar 2024Don't believe GSMarena's survey, they say they... moreYou don't see them because nobody buys them. People who can afford €1000+ phones are more likely to just buy iPhones. Just look at Apple market share on phones above $600. They're about 70%. Samsung has 17% I think, and Huawei has 5%. Xiaomi is like only 1 or 2%.

Even Chinese people themselves prefer iPhones or Huawei.

I would have preferred Xiaomi to release the 14 Pro instead globally, or both. Why not both?

Oh, so because it's not Apple, Samsung or Pixel, we'll call it the Chinese phone.

As a "cameraphone" it's great, of course it's the best, but ... I need a stylus 🤷🏻‍♂️ ... 🤔😐. The cameras on the S24 Ultra are atrocious 🤦🏻‍♂️.

                  It's Cheap

Nobody is asking you to believe, this is a site only for android nerds, nobody else uses this site, why would normal phone user want to check gsm for specs? This poll was on an article about the Xiaomi 14 ultra, so you'd have to be interested enough in xiaomi to find this article first, read the entire thing and then do the poll at the end; I don't think most android nerds would even care about the 14U, so I assume that the only people reading an article about the 14U are big fans of Xiaomi.

If you gave this poll to 1500 average iphone/Samsung/pixel users they wouldn't even care enough to even do the survey in the first place.

Don't believe GSMarena's survey, they say they're not interested in a new iPhone when it comes out, and they'll buy a new Xiaomi, Huawei, or BBK phone when it comes out, but in reality, no one buys their phones.

Where I live, I haven't seen a single flagship phone from Xiaomi or BBK outside of my neighborhood.

imtiredokay, 03 Mar 2024I'm using a Redmi device but I wonder how many percent... morebecause GSMArena doesn't make the "good phone but don't plan to buy it" option, so "I want one" is more suitable, according to me.

I'm using a Redmi device but I wonder how many percent of those 502 people who voted for "I want one" will actually get one copy of that €1500 Chinese phone.
