I still using my samsung note 20 ultra i didn't upgrade yet because samsung discontinue micro sd card slot on S series

I'm still hoping samsung will bring back the sd card its an option if people will use sd card or not i know some people don't want to use sd card but i wish samsung will bring it back for those who still want to use sd card..

I know samsung is mass production on micro sd card 1TB
Why are they doing it now if there S series no sd card slot?

KNOW THEY ARE SAYING S25 SERIES WILL BE EXYNOS
      AND NO OPTION OF SNAPDRAGON???

MAYBE MY NOTE20 ULTRA WILL BE LAST SAMSUNG PHONE.. ILL BETTER LOOK FOR OTHER BRAND NOW..

Samsung copying apple no external storage
Using own chip using own os..

Maybe soon samsung will use own OS ..

I think former ceo of samsung DJ Koh is better ceo of the samsung mobile phones..

As long as they doesn't have a very hot or even an explosive release (pun intended), I don't see anything wrong, except the absurd high price they will ask, even using an in-house chipset.

Also, some people prefers Exynos because its easier to modify the system, right?

Yeah, it's truly a cheap phone, which makes people think it's great value with a Snapdragon 695, when it's not, since it's slower than other phones with the same chipset, or worse chipsets. You might be right that it could've been because of One UI 6, but isn't that one of that phone's selling point, that it gets so many updates? Motorola has much better phones for similar prices, like the G54 Power, G84.

I just love hearing people make things up. S23 series and A54 and A34 are 4 major updates, and 5 years of patches. How the heck is 4 years of major updates and 3 years of patches, be an upgrade? Some need to quit make stories up. That is a downgrade, not upgrade of updates. The people saying 7 years of major updates, and 7 years of patches are more correct. So sick of hearing people just saying things and expecting people to believe them. Cringe worthy listening to that.

My comment was aimed at a different person who is repeatedly bashing Samsung despite having not used their phones. Your opinion is different because you use Samsung phones. My point would be that it's not really logical to frequently completely bash a brand, based on your biased preconceived ideas if you haven't even personally experienced their products. Crtiticism after having some personal experience is way more valid. I have never used Samsung smartphones and won't in the foreseeable future use them so I can't really form a proper opinion on their products. I have used Xiaomi, Motorola, Oppo, Honor, Huawei and Vivo in recent years so I can make proper criticism or praise on the phones I've used for them based on my own personal experience as you have done in this post. You make some valid points about One UI but some other users will think it's great as people have different preferences for software. That's basically a personal opinion but it's a valid one because you have actually used the software for a prolonged period of time.

At least Samsung sits on the (distant) number 2 spot, meaning amongst Android OEMs, they're still number 1 in the premium segment.

They basically focus only on the 8 series now. The "latest" 7 series was just the 7 gen 3 from last year. The most current 6 series was only the 6 gen 1 from 2022. That's about it. Qualcomm really cut down on their lineup to focus on the 8 series. Add on the higher cost for buying those chips, it's no brainer for Samsung to stick with their own Exynos and mediatek (which provides more varied selections) for the lower margin A/M series.
