Apple iPhone SE 4 renders reveal iPhone 14 frame and notched screen

The phone would rely on FaceID as the front button is missing.

"A new SE bigger, without TouchID and with the bloody notch, has no reason to exist."

I disagree.

I have used Android since 2010, but then smashed my phone accidentally in 2020 and decided I didn't have time to research 200+ phones / models using Android, so I decided to try an iPhone for the first time, new but old model, excellent discount.

Ever since, my main phone has been an iPhone - never the latest model, never full price. They just work, swiftly, smoothly, no crashes, it's an excellent integrated device.

I recently bought an outdoor rugged Android for when I go hiking, nice phone, but it's more like using a computer with apps installed that have no consistency, often no stability, slow down the phone, etc.

Worse than that, it gets no security updates, unlike my iPhone XS which is getting old but still works excellent and gets regular updates.

I will try the new SE4 whenever it comes out, looking forward to it.

By the way, Android phones don't have physical buttons on the screen.

A new SE bigger, without TouchID and with the bloody notch, has no reason to exist.
The reasons why people actually buys the SE, are smaller size, TouchID and not having an hole on the border of the screen...

This is really a new chassis not a "14 plus SE 22" chassis. Strange assessment by the author..

In today's world do you see people buying low spec phone just because it is from Apple?
There are plenty of better choices around at that price.

If you think EVERYONE is "overpricing," then it's your subjective feeling. If EVERYONE is pricing their products at certain level, that means to conduct a business selling such product and meet the demand, that pricing is necessary. Free market and competition work. If EVERYONE is truly "overpricing," than a company can easily undercut EVERYONE and gain marketshare easily.

The market speaks for itself. In the US, Apple has significant marketshare. It shows they are very competitive in what they offer. In contrast, Apple has much smaller marketshare in many markets outside the US since its pricing is completely out of whack (30 to 50% higher than US MSRP). That's what we call overpricing. Free market works.

Iphone market share is the largest in the US. That's a perfect proof that their offerings and pricing are competitive. It's different in other countries, where Apple pricing is completely out of whack. Their smaller market share reflects that. Free market works.
