It just wasn't available worldwide. Since the Find was released outside of CN, we've seen broken devices that have surpassed the Z4's issues in a shorter period.

          Do you have any proof Huawei's foldables are as durable? I would like to see it. ATM, we can look at reddit and see the Z5 is not only the most durable Z, it is the most durable book fold in the States with sales that are likely double or triple the Open and Pixel combined.

          Point me to an article or forum where I can get an idea of how durable Huawei's phones are and how well their customer service handles repairs. IP ratings don't mean much when it comes to durability. These phones don't break because they get wet.

            This is 100% gonna be wrong. The n2 and n3 flips are some of the best selling flip phones globally. The n2 was the best seller in China when it launched and 2nd or 3rd globally. Waiting for oppo to dispel these rumours again

              I would hope more competition for Flip style folding phones, Samsung Flip 6 is still using old tech cameras, no telephoto lens and small slow charging battery.

Additionally, the Huawei Pocket 2 has IPX8 up to 2 metres for 30 minutes, whereas the Z flip 5 are IPX8 up to only 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. This means that, the Pocket 2 has more stronger water pressure resistant despite the catastrophic US sanctions. And, Samsung was the first ever who made the foldable phones IPX8. Samsung WAS the king of foldable phones in terms of durability. But, in the current state, it is not.

                          It may be nascent, but it's still far from mainstream. I myself have long gone from foldable market and now much prefer dual screen solution instead.

                              You need to spend more time watching video about durability test between samsung and chinese made foldable (including motorola), so you can have a normal working brain.

Problems ranging from cracked screen at the crease (very common on Samsung Flips), issues with the hinge mechanism that cause the screen to not open full 180° (affect both Folds and Flips) and black spots that appear on internal and external displays (happen to both Folds and Flips as well).

                                    My late father bought a Samsung 43" LED TV several years ago and now the TV screen is broken with a black image at the top and with a flashing line below the screen.. I don't know why this happened.. I should suggest not to buy a Samsung with an overpriced price and average quality.

                                        chinese brands are too conservative to step out of china. if they do,they are expensive to buy and lack proper aftersales support.
