If you want sideloading yet you buy an iPhone, that's on you. Android has offered sideloading since day 1. Asking a government to dictate how a business conduct their business just because you made a poor choice for a phone is beyond childish.

Everyone's OS feels different when it comes to android, plus since the manufacturer has total control over the OS, they can use it for anything. amazon Fire devices (TVs, tablets, and echos) run android, so does the facebook portal, even some vehicles use android for their infotainment center, but all of these devices look, feel, and operate so differently that saying its "just android" isn't really accurate.

                          Did you miss the part in which I mentioned how expensive an iPhone is and how expensive is to break out of the eco system? As an EU citizen I expect my investment to be protected and not to be bullied by the manufacturer.
                          It is not my part to change my device. It is the part of Apple to behave correctly.

                          Does the manufacturer of your car tell you where to fuel or does it ask the fuel company to give up 30% of their revenue? Does your car manufacturer ask you as a cap driver to share 30% of the revenue with them? Are you leaving in a parallel universe?

                          It is your car!
