I'm tired of reading these Apple news lol
      Am i?

Degener8, 08 Mar 2024More EU rules that no EU company has to follow… interesting 🤔 You probably forget that these companies sell their products in EU too.

So either they follow the rules or they stop selling in Europe Region.

Thats why Apple in France for example has to sell their Iphones with headphones.

When I was switching to Android 2 years ago, it was already easy with no problem. And going back Android to iPhone with move to iOS also easy.

Degener8, 08 Mar 2024You are correct. And that’s why EU has no great tech compan... moreHey, ASML would like to have a word with you. Without this Dutch company, Apple and Google would be pretty irrelevant in the mobile space. In fact without them, we wouldn't have chips as advanced as we do have now, full stop. There are others that manufacture lithographic machines, but none are as advanced as ASML's. People also forget how important Bosch and Siemens are, both European. Everyone is screaming about Silicon Valley companies every day and forget that Bosch and Siemens make components for almost everything in the world. Almost everything in transportation or energy sectors, they are enabled by components from these two companies. Just because you don't see them in the news ever 5 minutes, it doesn't mean Europe doesn't have tech companies. They just operate behind the scenes and are not screaming at top of their lungs about their existence like most of American companies do.

Jon prosser was right, having got the cookie the EU is now coming for the milk and more…..

Anonymous, 08 Mar 2024"and you will also be able to fully uninstall Safari&q... moreyup, there should be no uninstallable apps in any software (windows, android, chrome, mac... etc), even if you format your device and those apps appear back, you should be able to remove them (not disabling them), also, is there a way to uninstall apps (google and those that comes with each skin)? if there's a video guide would be appreciated...

Degener8, 08 Mar 2024More EU rules that no EU company has to follow… interesting 🤔 Which European company has a mobile OS monopoly(duopoly)? None. You left that important part out. And believe me, they have to obey EU rules, especially ones for privacy are really strict.

Most people have no idea about any of this, wouldn't know how to communicate about this if they did, and said countries are in league with corporate lobbyist groups and have neutered their antitrust laws thanks to said corporates' political pandering. I live in the UK, and I was very much surprised to find out just how bad the UK is with antitrust law, and to my absolute shock, I found that it's almost just as bad as the US with this. For example, why is Vodafone allowed to buy Three? The two biggest telecoms companies in the UK have been given the green light to merge, despite the result being that we now have a humongous monopoly.
