What a disappointment, it won't be a real top.
Even the camera department won't be top notch (I wasn't expecting ultra specs, though...)
In the render you can see that the pixel size of the main camera is 2 microns (in pixel binning), so it will use, for the third consecutive year, ov50a of 1/1.55 ​​and not the last one, like the other competitors ov50h of 1/ 1.28 with pixels of 2.4 (in pixel binning).
The camera department has never been its strong point but until last year it was still adequate for a top of the range (not ultra), unlike what some users say.

    What an ugly looking phone. The Edge 40 Pro was much better looking with a better Blue colour option. These look like ultra budget plasticy phones.

        However, someone with the Edge 40 Neo is stuck on the November patch and I presume that's considered a flagship model. In both cases, people have tried the trick of removing the sim card or disabling the sim and restarting, which sometimes results in an update being detected.

These kind of things may happen sometimes but when you say it across most of the devices, the Motorola updates are bimonthly and generally do keep to their promise for updates at least for the G series phone I have used so far recently.

            Woah an F/1.4 lens? That would make for amazing low-light performance and better bokeh effect. I like Motorola these days, their designs seem more tasteful imo, not as glorious as their 2013-2015 days, but it still has that good taste in there.

                Yes. Every G series and flagship series phones should get bi monthly update.

                I wonder if the Thinkphone would have decent camera performance with GCam. It's about the only Moto phone that has hardware I like.

                There has been some discussion about the GCam for Thinkphone in the Motorola subreddit. I think some compatible GCam exists for that phone too but you could verify the motorola subreddit or some where online for your research
