Hugo, 09 Mar 2024Sorry for your trouble. These bad actors are not the normal... moreWhat does a political party has to do with a tech website?
You think they are gonna hack this website and start their political ad campaign here. Bruh. They have no reason to attack a tech website lol.

Absurd assumption.

In a imaginary case scenario theyd attack some chinese smartphone website as china is india's arch nemesis.

Carol, 11 Mar 2024I am really, really amazed that people think this guys are ... moreMay be few students attempted penetration test part of their Ethical Hacking course and chosen their favorite smartphone reviewer gsmarena for it! Otherwise, what is the point in attacking gsmarena ? I don't see any logic in it.

masstamilan.day, 11 Mar 2024hi there GSMArena admins, I too have some sites, and my sit... moreI am really, really amazed that people think this guys are some amateurs with an amateurish infrastructure and that this is the first time they have seen so much traffic and none has the common sense to akknowlege that hey, they might actally know what an attack is, and what heavy load is, and believe me, they are VERY different. Stop talking about two different things. Load is not an attack and an attack is not load, and they are very easy to spot.

hi there GSMArena admins, I too have some sites, and my sites have 100000/H traffic sometimes from India. It is normal to have that much traffic. Or maybe some unregistered AI is training on your data. Try using some firewalls to block IPs based on behavioural patterns.

Not in India, so not affected. I live in the United States.

Hello, It's not an attack. Airtel and Reliance Jio combine heaving more than 800 millions user base. What the big deal 100000/H request, you should increase your server capacity to offer service in India.

This is most likely not an attack but regular traffic from India. Population is huge. Your site is very popular in India. 100,000 IP's /hour is normal traffic. Airtel and Jio are the 2 biggest ISP's in India.

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2024Thank God I'm using V!After 22 hours I'm able to access now.

Most of the infrastructure is being licensed by Jio and Airtel only...
Even if you have a "XYZ" ISP, there's a high chance its back end is provided by Jio/Airtel.

And I faced no problems accessing gsmarena in the recent time.

attacks will continue no ir no buy
