I and several friends of mine have bought base S24. While I wish it was snapdragon, the exynos is fine, it doesn't overheat at all (especially compared to my snapdragon Flip 5 which due to hinge overheats in video calls all the time).
But I want to underline how nice s24 feels in hand, the software is faster than ever and overall it is one of the best Samsung experiences I have had. It's hard to place my finger on it but this generation feels like a real upgrade to whatever was there before.

still 8gb ram for s24, same sht on my s23, once I open my camera all my games have to reload, it doesn't make sense at all to give 8gb ram for such expensive "flagship" phone

Here's an idea Samsung: instead of forcing a particular SoC on entire regions, let buyers choose their SoC like they choose RAM and storage.
Then, we could see which SoC people prefer.

worst camera from flagship models due to exynos processor. low light videos are really bad. lot of people soon going to sell their s24 and s24 plus (exynos models). wait and see the effect on s25 sales.

This just goes to show we are a vocal minority.
Not only are people in Europe of all places buying the s24 more than the s23, but the models with exynoss are selling more than the ultra, facepalm.

this 13m units surpass s23series is overall sales just in Q1 2024 due to strong pre order number . not overall total sales beating the 28m s23 series. Normal trend Q1 will show strong number. Wait till Q3,Q4 and the sale volume going to be disapointing. Unless samsung announce massive price cut and discount. Impossible the S series can reach 30 miil barrier by end of this year compared to yearly overall smarphones shipment is near to 1.2 billions .

Also I read many, many complaints about S22. Some people joked it's a landline telephone because of battery life.
Phone is too expensive and too necesary tool in my life to depend if they finally fixed Exynos in S24 or not. I don't trust reviewiers because many of them didn't see any problem in A53 or S22.
