Bodygard, 13 Mar 2024Not lying about prices, rather seems you don't know ho... moreNot sure what's your fixation on S23 FE but it's not as good as you make it out. It's pretty underwhelming device actually, with very poor battery life, especially Exynos variant here in Europe. I'm picking up A55, I don't care about S23 FE and I don't care about buying from unknown stores you listed other side of Europe. Also right now they give Fit3 with A55 purchases which is pretty nice freebie to get.

That's a first. I have a friend with an A53, so I thought the A5x sold well.

Companies (especially Samsung) purposefully castrate midrangers so they are worse than flagships. And luckily, since Android phones are cheaper quicker, we get to enjoy old flagships faster. I see this as a pro compared to iPhone ownership.
Better experience for you and better for the environment if you are willing to buy second hand.

I just don't know why but i prefer buying older flagships like 2 years back to getting the latest midrange phones

Then in a couple of years they're going to discontinue the A5x entirely and say that not enough people would buy it. Just like the A7x.
I bet if the A7x series were sold in the US, people would've bought it for the bigger screen and snapdragon chipset over the A5x and they might still continue the A7x. Now, we have to spend $1,000+ if we want a big screen and snapdragon chipset from Samsung!
That same thing also happens to the Samsung Galaxy S(x) Active series. The Active series phone was only available through AT&T. They discontinued the Active series after the S8 Active because not enough people bought the active series. If this phone were available unlocked more people would've bought it.

Sure I've seen some complaints related to Poco F5, usually it's related to software (that's what you got from buying a phone that uses MIUI), but it's never related to temperature/heating issue.

Hmm, 12 Mar 2024A5x phones are massively successful if Europe. They are per... moreNot lying about prices, rather seems you don't know how to search.
Tuimei store in Spain is selling the S23FE for €469 brand new (€489 in other colors).
Amazon Spain is selling for €495 brand new.
Powerplanet Spain for €559.
All these stores send to other European countries. Warranty is 3 years. If you want to pay €500 for an A55, a much inferior phone in screen, performance, cameras, not even has Samsung Dex, wireless charge, videos 4k60fps like the S23FE etc go ahead.

I can't see these not coming to the U.S. eventually. They usually have been released around spring time so this is unusual. Hopefully there is a U.S. release eventually maybe around the summer time.

2. Galaxy A55... more"Exynos 1480" has quite similar performance as the "SD888"
Again, Exynos 1480 is nowhere similiar to SD 888, just look at the specification, SD 888 has Cortex X1 while Exynos has only Cortex A78 as performance core. Also number talks here, in Antutu 10 Exynos 1480 score is 700K+ while SD 888 is 900K+.
Exynos 1480 is equivalent only to Dimensity 7200, not even on par against SD 7 Gen 3

Samsung would rather push phones without SD card slots so they can play the anti-consumer Apple upselling game. They won't get any business from me.
