No app store needed - but there is a catch. Meanwhile, Apple is changing how alternative app stores and payment methods work.

This (if there was no catch) would solve 80% of my problems with iOS , I mean 4k Video Downloader, Some Virtualization to run Linux Mint, My own File manager maybe or personal apps for personal use ... Finally a TRUE Smartphone 😍

Apple should bite the bullet and offer MacOS to OEMs as well. This will hugely improve their market share as well as reach to large number of users that will benefit from it within the $500-900 range laptop/computers.

iOS is slowly turning towards Android. It's good though.

We should be able to just download .ipa files and install them like we can download .apk files on Android. That would be true and real freedom for everyone

Apple always comes with terms and conditions.😆😆

I think eu commission is going to look into this ASAP. Beware Apple.

i expected better from apple, but apple is apple after all i guess...

I read the title and thought "Has apple figured what sideloading actually means?!", then proceeded to read the rest, "Of course. It's Apple after all..."

Thats why they banned Epic's account, so they dont have developer account for two continuous years. xD

Do we get to see mods in iOS finally?
Some quirky Devs may be able to make it a reality?
                      Is the idea feasible?

                        And people still defend Apple.

It seems apple is inviting another class action law suit by smaller developers...

Still terrible. Apple shouldn't be gatekeeping anyone from downloading apps outside of the Apple App Store. All this does is that now, only a few big developers will be able to develop non-Apple App Store apps. This is better, don't get me wrong, but it's still against open standards as a whole.
