A crop or MFT mirrorless with a pancake lens can literally fit in a pocket, and produce results practically identical to a giant DSLR. And the quality improvement over a phone is huge in telephoto ranges.

Hang on - there's some clear discolouration going on in the example photos on both the S24+ and S24 Ultra on the main lens (used for 1 and 2x) when you look at the apartment building. - S24U Specs (SoC, Scr... morePhones have dual sim, i mean mine can have 3 sims (2 physical, 1 electronic i have the find x5) and no, no one is begging for sd card slot or 3.5 jack, just trolls on here called anon because they are not needed, ever and they say it to cause disruption, thats it. We arent living in 2005 anymore move on.
I'd take quad 32bit dacs like LG used to do, I'd take semi/modular design like project ara/LG, I'd take some way to fit quad speakers on, I'd take ceramic framed/backed phones and 360° nfc like my find x5 has, an IR blaster is actually useful for things, about it atm that i can think of.

The reason is simply that it is always in my pocket and not something that I have to lug around. 99% of people would struggle to pick the difference between DSLR and a high end phone camera in most situations.

Wrong. They buy DSLR camera, thomas. Not to mention, 99% of people don't even know DXLRO..whatever score. Most People buy Samsung/iPhone because they satisfied with the photo result, thats it.

s24+ is simple an embarrassment , you can get x100 pro for the same price which is better in many aspects that s24 ultra

The same goes to Base and Plus series of iPhone, even though they're using the flagship chipset from last year, and Poco F5 Pro, which is surely inferior compared to Xiaomi 13 series, but at least I can call it "flagship killer".
