I still remember the time when new Zenfone series had similar price as new Redmi in 2017.

I swear ..i will not forget Zenfone series as a cheap phone brand.

So, the maximum amount of money i would pay for Zenfone 11 Ultra is USD400, just like the price of any cheap chinese phone.

Above that price, Samsung or iPhone was better option.

Looks like legendary htc one phone :)

iDroid, 14 Mar 2024Woke aka anything you don't likeWestern media have used the word FIRST on everything past few years. In all the movies and tv shows where they present there woke characters and then say first black female in some roles or what ever. It's like all we hear with all the new entertainment and everything where someone is always saying first on something.

Also the answer you give is the meaning of the hate speech law that is forced on by the western world

Why not say 3 cameras return ?
First in this first on that and so on is the modern annoying line that are not even first in anything. It's the woke way of speaking

They are so lazy and tight on the budget that they are using the same black metal frame for all that beautiful colorful glass back, reminding the entry-level Pixel 6. A fatal design inconsistency would limit their sale to male consumers as female consumers who are into Android would better choose Galaxy S or 1+ rather than this.
Black metal frame + colorful bright-colored glass back is a real crime when they are asking eu 1k+ for a phone.

No way to change to the higher quality mode, either.

Another boring generic phone that costs nearly a grand. Boring 🥱

With a large size, a display resolution that's only FHD, and a camera that's pathetically unworthy of the "ultra" moniker, the ROG Phone 8 doesn't get "ultra" in name only.

Sure, smaller smartphones have a smaller market than larger ones and don't make as much money, but this product that threw away its identity and just grew in size will never succeed.

Merely having a 3.5mm headphone jack doesn't magically make a garbage overpriced under-specced phone good.

3.5mm Jack let's see how the phone sells.

i cant believe asus is using the imx 890, a sensor used in midrange phones like the nothing phone 2
this is supposed to be an 'ultra' phone

A wallpaper that fades to black at the bottom means only one thing

First things first, no longer a compact device which used to be the USP of Asus. Customers will not pay a premium price just for the 3.5 jack. Asus got the compact version perfect, understand the niche market. But they didn’t market the product well. Also, poor software upgrade record!

Sad to see a good OEM losing its identity.

                                      Ugly

Price is $899USD, plus the free wireless earbuds. Plus it's compatible with AT&T in addition to T-Mobile, (Verizon isn't listed, but you can usually raise an issue with support to get an individual non-CDMA service added) albeit without MMWave. It's really good value for the price here compared to the competition from Apple, Google, and Samsung.
