    It's totally unnecessary to release the same phone twice in just a couple of months lol

        Early tests show that the cameras aren't up to par at this price, and the telephoto only takes 8 MP pictures, despite the 32mp sensor, and that sensor can't even do 4k videos. Absolutely pathetic.

          Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra also supports 4 Years OS and 4 years Security Updates

            Nope ASUS this ain't it... looks ugly, only Full HD display, mediocre camera, only 2 OS updates. This ain't an Ultra.

            I would not trade my Galaxy S23 Ultra for this "Ultra".

            ASUS should be just stuck to the big ROG gaming phones and the smaller ZenFone models. Not release an ugly thing like this. How can GSMArena give this phone 4.4 rating? Like what? This is barely a 4.

                    The Asus flagship should be ROG and the Zenfone should be a cheap phone..

                      Rog 7 has 10.3mm thick. Asus do not use better cam setup as own choice.
                      Tallest phone, one of the widest and the thickest.
                      If Asus wanted, would be able to fit 1/1.3" wide + 1/2.6" super wide + 1/2.6" periscope.

                      Just need to reorganize internals.

                          But I don't need a full on flagship, just some part of it and Zenfone 10 and before balanced that out just fine.

                          Because that phone has a 512gb/16GB RAM version for those that wanted it, it even had a 3.5mm jack (and after my hell with getting a 100% properly working adapter, I would really love to have that)

                          The only thing that pushed me away was the silver ring around the selfie, in real life it looked terribly distracting, and this from someone who even wanted to accept the sad 2 OS upgrades.

                          That phone proved we can have a smaller flasgship, sure the cameras sucked but that is mostly a software issue (iPhone 13 Mini has great cameras while being even smaller, and Zenfone had the right hardware, just not the software)

                          And now they do this... and the worst part is their claim of "we listened to you"

                              Then complain nobody makes small phones.
                              They want small phones with same internals of big ones, but complain if they have flagship price.

                              They want Iphone 15 Pro max internals inside 13 Mini for price of Iphone SE.

                                  So they replaced a phone that gave them a unique position in the smartphone market with… this generic thing that is essentially a rebrand of the ROG?

                                      That's not really anything to be proud of with such an underwhelming setup. Great to see that optical zoom made a COME BACK, but it's nothing more than that, still only 3x and the ultrawide camera has lost AF, even though the Zenfone 8 Flip had it, and even the small Zenfone 9 did..

                                      Asus is finished if there isn't a small Zenfone 11 coming later this year. This phone is nothing, but an Ultra boring and Ultra expensive rebrand.

                                        The Zenfone 10 worked cus the price was lower and it was a compact phone so everyone accepted the camera compromise. The ROG Phone 7 worked cus the compromised cameras meant dual front speakers and a bigger battery can be there.

                                        This phone and the ROG Phone 8 don't work cus they're not cheap, not compact, don't have 6k mah battery like in the past ROG phones and there are no dual front speakers. I wonder who in their right mind would actually buy this? I'd rather go buy the Xiaomi 14 Ultra for 2k euros than this and still consider myself a savvy buyer because that phone has good camera hardware at least.
