15 March 2024
The chip is a tad more powerful than the 13th-gen KS predecessor.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2024efficiency and not being able to toast your bread on it obviously you've never exhausted an apple silicon macbook my new m3 mbp becomes a furnace when i play WoW longer then 20 minutes because thats how long the battery lasts under heavy load, literal joke

And at what power consumption? Close to an RTX 4090?

I praised Intel for going big.LITTLE with Alder Lake, but this is rapidly become Alder Lake++, going back to the bad old days of Skylake+++++.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2024Will this require Liquid Nitrogen for cooling? Not enough. You'll need to sign a contract with Elon Musk to fly into space to use it at 0 Kelvin temperature.

Always nice to see Intel release a new generation heater. Winters are getting pretty cold these days.

justasmile, 15 Mar 2024Your turn, Apple. Let’s see what you’ve got with the Ultra.efficiency and not being able to toast your bread on it

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2024ryzen is already at 5nm, and this year will be 4nm....Intel... moreidk man, looking at power per watt drawn , intel looks more efficient to me, see cpu benchmarks and compare their score relatively to their power used

Will this require Liquid Nitrogen for cooling?

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2024ryzen is already at 5nm, and this year will be 4nm....Intel... moreZen 5 will be on 3nm node. But yeah intel is also doing the same thing with Intel 4, Intel 20A and 18A. And RLKR is based on 7nm node process.

Useless. This had less than a 1% increase in performance vs. the i9-14900K in a Blender benchmark, but consumed 31% more power, and this is the same across the board for every other benchmark and real software. At a maximum power limit of 410W, this is just a useless waste of money and electricity. No reason to get this for almost $800 when it's the same thing as a $500 i9-14900K, and even that's overkill. Unless you need it for some niche usecase that loves lots of cores or very high clockspeeds, the 13th and 14th Gen i9s are not even necessary for most people. Most people will get 99% of the same performance from an i5-13600K, which was like $300 at launch and is sold for much less now.

a good processor for those who dont have heaters for winter

rizki1, 15 Mar 2024Good.. I have question, what CPU are you using currently?who was this question?

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2024ryzen is already at 5nm, and this year will be 4nm....Intel... moreand we see that nanometers have absolutely zero influence on performance

Iepuroiul, 15 Mar 2024Who cares? A hot mess. I regret buying my 14600k and 14700k... moreamd? wakala

Who cares? A hot mess. I regret buying my 14600k and 14700k. Ryzen was the better choice and cheaper.

ryzen is already at 5nm, and this year will be 4nm....Intel is still at 10nm

It's just a few generations away from becoming heaters

Not even an absolute zero cooler will be able to cool this monstrosity lmao they already struggle with heat and are doing this, I fear that one day we might get some Note 7 kind of explosions or something cus these CPUs get HOT. Hardware Unboxed has some really cool videos on these.

Good.. I have question, what CPU are you using currently?

Mills, 15 Mar 2024This beats M3 and Apple knows it but will compare it to old... moreYour comment doesn't make sense!! This is a processor that you can buy at any electronics store to build your own PC. Can you get the Apple m3 chip the same way unless you buy a Mac? It doesn't make sense, rather you should target AMD as it is the direct competitor of Intel.

                                        6.2? not nice enough!
