But if you want, you'll be up and running from 0 to full in 25 minutes. Also the OP8 is several generations old. The tech is evolving. My Oppo RX17 Pro - noticeable degradation. My OP Nord 2 is at 85 percent capacity after 2 years of daily charging at 65W.

After Reviewing it for Battery, i found that Li-po battery tend to have shorter life span no matter how careful the user but biggest advantage of Li-Po battery is more safer and battery is very low usage when phone not being use.
While Li-ion which Apple also Use has a longer life span if properly use. but disadvantage is it get easily burn when wrong build or punctured.
Also according to what i found Li-Ion has limited charging speed thats why they cant go to higher than 45w. while Li-Po can go higher than 100w

I bought S24 Ultra Titanium Blue 12/512GB almost immediately after its release, from the official website. I paid 1050 euro for trading in a 5y old 100e phone that what broken dead, and I took also 1year for screen-breaking coverage. I am paying those 1050 in 24 installments with 0% insterest.
I think this type of offers make phones like S24 Ultra a bargain.
Also, about the Oneplus, I am unhappy from OP 8T battery life. Probably the really ultra fast charging killed the battery faster that normal. After one year of rare use (charging once-twice per week) and one extra year of daily use the phone could not even last 4 hours in work (phone calls, texting, pdf reading). Then it was pretty hard to find a good replacement in a worthy price. I imported from China a replacement that lasted only a couple of months. Another negative thing was the controversial change for Oxygen OS to a ColorOS clone. The original thing was much nicer.

Surely they could manage to take a few photos together in the same environment rather than reusing old ones in different conditions that aren't really comparable.

You can't compare a cheap oneplus12 with s24 ultra... You need to compare it with Honor magic 6 pro, vivo x100 pro

Camera-wise SGS24U is leagues above OP12.
In almost all photos and videos, the amount of fine details for SGS24U is so much higher.
On SGS24U photos you can discern things which disappear and blur out on OP12.

Never mind S24 Ultra, not even S24+ can beat the OP12. You can miss me about Samsung's "long" software update, I totally doubt if the phone can even last that long.

Now compare the Oneplus 12 to its actual price competitor, the S24+. Everyone's comparing it to the S24 Ultra like that's the thing it's priced against.

I have OP12 because it's better for me to use it outside for work (including camera). My wife has S24 Ultra (s Pen and more storage, flat screen).
I wish OnePlus will bring flat screen as well

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2024You must use it before giving advise. Software is too important. I used to use a Samsung before switching to the OP12.
There is little difference in the software. Sure, small specific features here and there like Samsung Dex or whatever. But the general usage experience is basically the same.
