I am thinking of reporting them to the BBB soon and sharing my experience on all of the social media. My previous oneplus 11 I got from best buy last year with $150 discount, but this time around it makes me rethink any future purchases of this brand.

              As long as the control buttons are spaced out the way they are I will never switch from pixel to oneplus. On the pixel no matter who says what, the button layout is perfect

                1. Nobody wants to buy phone with 4 stove design. Way better that same cringe thing Apple and Samsung does where a low cost device looks exactly same as a top end phone A13 or A05 for example vs S23 plus or S24 plus etc. A 60hz screen apple for 1000 euros only thining about that makes me vomit.

                2. It has shorter software support than midrange Galaxy A55. Like it ever matters. You get App uopdates as long as phone keeps working and even if your so called A55 gets 7 years of updates hardware wont keep that ong and even if it will does the 7 years old device will be struggling to run even facebook or tik tok due to outdated hardware even if software will be new. You cant teach new tricks old dog can you??? No you cant. Most people buys on contract from carrier for 2-3 years and then when the phone still have a decent value they try to sell it to get a new phone. For that and for sole specs compared to price Oneplus 12R is way better than your average midranger.

                3. It only has water splash protection. Buy water proof case from Alliexpress or wish site problem solved. No manufacturer gives water damage warranty so it really does not matter its a phone not a submarine. You will not swim in sea with your phone. If its get water damaged whether you had or not water damage resistance you have to pay expensive repair. No phone manufacturer gives water damage waranty. Said case for 2 euros does lot better job this way and cheaper.

                4. Oneplus brand doesnt sound as premium as Samsung/iPhone brand. Since when Apple or Samsung is premium. (Laughing like mad, insane, crazy dude). Or you want to say e that a 60HZ apple with tiny batteries n charger in bx super slow charging bad endurance is a premium no is not. Same goes for samsung. Banana shape blur in almost every photo which they never fixed on S23 series also the green line on displays. And the failure with presenting actual quality on S24 series. Hardware issue which no software fix cant repair no matter what.

                5. It has mediocre UI and from china. Said UI is called Oxygen UI and is as close to stock android as possible. Samsugng UI cost lot of disk space and ram. A 8GB ram sdevice with Samsung UI feels like a 4GB ram device. Not talking about Apple ecosystem where phone restrict you from litterary everything. No mater how you look at it Oxygen OS is way better in every aspect. Is not ram or disk space hungry and does not comes with million samsung apps acting like mandatory unable to delete and cost you lot of proccesing power I.E. slowing your phone down greatly. Asking every while for some update and after several months or years with many updates whole device gets a lot slower than what you had when you bought it and run for the first time. 5-7 years old Samsung devices even the flagships are equal i speeds to a low cost Xiaomi series for example 13C.

                6. Most people prefer Samsung/iPhone (based on sales number) This is definitely not a true. People have no choice.
                Will explain. For example most people in USA buys Apple because if you come to US the list of phone brands which you can buy actualy in stores is set to 5 maybe 6.
                You can get Apple, Samsung, Google, Blu, Motorola and thats it.
                Honestly i can guarantee you if we make all phones from all brands equally avilable in every of 206 countries in world Samsung or Apple wont be top of the list anymore because brands like Oneplus, Xiaomi, Oukitel, Doogee, Cubot, Blackview, Realme, Honor etc can make a ot better device than said Apple or Samsung for much less price.
                Maybe it will be in worse quality too but like i said before. You get your 2-3 years of warranty when buying on contract so you are covered and in 2-3 years when you sell your old device and gets new on contract you will loose nothing.

                Writing to you from my Motorola Edge 40 pro bought in Slovakia in end of July for 789 euros but on contract paying 16 eur monthly for next 2 years rest been covered by my monthly plan. And in summer 2025 when i will be eglibe for new device will sell my flagship with good enough specs for 2025 year and grab a new device.
                You know that not many people have the luxury to take from pcokets 1500 eur for latest Apple or Samsung.

                  And if you trade-in specific devices in good working condition, you can get an additional bonus, up to $450. So theoretically you could even grab a 12R for free - in practice it doesn't quite work that way since the highest trade-in amounts are always for top of the line devices, and we assume no one is trading an iPhone 15 Pro for a OnePlus 12R.

                  Well if i have Apple 14 - 15 pro or Pro max or Samsung S23, S24 plus or ultra would gladly trade a lot better less bloated oneplus device with much faster charging for a bloated crawling retired turtle slow charging Samsung or Apple with tons of bloatware inside.

Most people lo... more4 years of OS updates is still more than enough for most people, especially for those who buy phones through carriers and change it every year or two. I agree about the camera though as it's still Pixel's huge forte.

                        1. Up the Camera game (software/processing). Most people love Google for Pixel's no fuss shoot-and-forget photography. It just works (for the average user). OnePlus, not so much.

                        2. Up the sw updates game. Pixel has 7 years of updates. Oneplus 4 (+ 1 year of security).

                        My current phone is 6 years old. In perfect working order. I refuse to upgrade until I see something worth upgrading to. I have enough money to upgrade every month, if I want, it's not about cost, it's about lack of features.

                          If ever there were a oneplus, then maybe. But with the oppo infection, then no thanks.

                          Oppoplus simply isn't worth it! We want oxygen or lineage os back!

                              OnePlus can never achieve the level of camera performance as the pixel when it comes to photos and videography. Both are in seperate leagues, take it from a user who is currently using pixel and has used oneplus phones before

                                Those who would have wanted a better camera would have gone to the 12 while the base variant should have been good enough with 50+13+10 combo and a steal at that price point

                                Also don't mind Anonymous 6c1 comments, he's a delusional fanboy or marketing ex fooling around in comments. (Context: Check A55's price revealed in India thread for this drama)

                                  Not that I have any problem with OnePlus phones, but camera performance has always been one of Pixel's strong points and I totally doubt if most Pixel owners want to migrate from it.

                                    Bruh, this is a jab at their price increment from the pixel 8 series. Nonetheless people would wait for the pixel 8a and rather pay more for stock android, better cameras and long software support. Not to mention, avoiding a phone with a horrendous design

                                        I upgraded from a Pixel 6a to a OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite a year ago. In spite of being a lifelong stock/pure Android user, the Pixel frustrated me beyond comprehension.
