        OnePlus has best bang for the buck phones, but the company itself is a joke. Already waiting a second week for my 12R to arrive. Never again will I order directly from the manufacturer.

          But the camera on the OnePlus 12r won't match the one on the pixel phone. OnePlus should have worked on giving better cameras on the 12r. That is where this phone has missed the mark

            I don't think Pixel users like OxygenOS at this point..

              A curved display? No thanks.

                    OnePlus 12R dominates Pixel 8 and 8 Pro in everything besides cameras. 12R can pull of some impressive main stills at day and night but ultrawide need works. Macro is just an L. Just add AF to UW and replace macro with telephoto with 3x zoom!

                      If it's any device of any condition, then I could trade in my old bricked LG G4, or even my old Nokia feature phone. Pretty great deal tbh. I agree with OnePlus, they aren't overstating it this time, it is definitely a flagship killer at that price.

                        2. It has shorter software support than midrange Galaxy A55. - 8 Gen 2 will still be powerful from 5 years from now. E1480 will be a entry level chip from then.

                        3. It only has water splash protection. - Most cases, you don't need IP6x rating. It's a gimmick. Out of all of the phones I used, none got submerged or got splashed with water. You'll be fine.

                        4. Oneplus brand doesnt sound as premium as Samsung/iPhone brand. - Doesn't make the phone worse. Making up reasons to hate the phone.

                        5. It has mediocre UI and from china. - China is goated for the mobile hardware. Xiaomi and BBk are pushing bangers like Realme GT5 and Poco X6 Pro, which is better than what US offers. A 429 dollar iPhone 8 with 5G and A35. OxygenOS is more fluid and better looking than iOS and OneUI anyway.

                        6. Most people prefer Samsung/iPhone (based on sales number). - If you whip out your OnePlus 12, people will be asking what brand is that. If OnePlus was popular like Samsung, it would sell more in the US. Only tech enthusiasts know who OnePlus is, not some average joe off of the street.

                        2 and 3 are valid points. 1, 4, 5 and 6 just seemed like attempts to hate on One+ lol. Pixel is worse than OnePlus 12R.

                                        Wow, try this phone sold in Indonesia which is the same price as Galaxy A55, Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Realme 12 Pro+ and it will run out of stock. Of course you need a YouTuber to introduce this so people know.
