The specifications are basically worse in all areas apart from the selfie camera. You've also got flagships like the Realme gt5 pro at that price but you are right that they charge a premium for Xiaomi phones and it is designed to compete with phones like the Honor 100 pro which is also around that price so you could be right.

        Metal frame sucks, but I wonder how they managed to keep the weight under 180 grams. They either have a smaller phone overall (under 6,5" screen), or a smaller cooling solution(?). The ISP should help a lot to boost the series’ photography focus, anyway.

          Thank god it has stereo speakers, the Civi 3 only has mono speakers

Definitely going to be a step up... moreDefinitely it will be priced the same as Redmi K70 Pro as it branded as a Xiaomi phone, which got a more sophisticated design and better quality control, and more reliable than, sacrificing some performance.

                Price will be interesting. Definitely going to be a step up in price with the pro moniker but it is also a good bit better than the previous Civi 3. My guess is 2,999rmb starting price bearing in mind the Redmi k70 pro with snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 2k screen is 3,299rmb (the Civi will have a very similar rear camera setup if not the exact same rear camera setup as the k70 pro). Basically though all the weaknesses of the Civi 3 will be fixed in the Civi 4 pro. Dual speakers at last. 3 usable cameras. The only disappointing thing is they are using a 2x zoom like the k70 pro. 2x zoom isn't that useful so it's a pity they didn't give it a 3x telephoto

                      That will likely become the 14 Lite, unless they decide to make the Pro the 14 Lite.

                        That is good. I hope in the future we will have even lighter phones, like we had in the past
