It's a realy sad day for me... 2 weeks ago I bought a 808, my sister use my old N8. I don't now what to say. For me Symbian was, is and will be the best mobile OS ever made. In future- WP8 I think. But it doesn't have USB otg or HDMI.

P.S. I hate people who write "Symbian is crap!". First look at 808,701,603,700 or N8 and then write about it.

          Shame on you Nokia!

Symbian was a great OS. It had true multitasking and a great file manager, features which even today's best OS *cough* (android, iOS) don't have.

It's not the company's fault it is Stephen Elop's. MEEGO WOULD BE A SUCCESS MR. ELOP BUT YOU RUINED EVERYTHING.

If we compare sales of Symbian and Meego and those of Windows Phone, AND we subtract the money spent on marketing -- it is obvious that Symbian and Meego are a success. Instead they even sold the residence in Finland.

I will never buy Nokia again, currently owning a Nokia 700, and I'm waiting for Jolla and Tizen hoping that they will continue their ancestors legacy.

Once again: SHAME ON YOU NOKIA ! SHAME ON YOU ELOP !

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2013You can't change these facts: 1. Only a Symbian phone ca... moreNokia should have stuck with communicaters line and clamshells etc with proper buttons and not chased stupid touchscreen crap..Why did every mag or article mention iphone killer...This led to every rudy company making this boring touchscreen slabs..My goodness the amount of design in Nokias N AND E Series handsets and communicaters is fantastic/legendary..Symbian drew about only 2mA in standby ,,proper file manager true multitasking,,decent speakers and microphones,,top notch cameras, shutter buttons and lens covers, built in stands..Nokia and Symbian were superb products it all went wrong when they went full touchscreen

I still hear today and I agree of folk asking in shops saying I want a button phone DONT WANT A TOUCHSCREEN PHONE...That click of a button and click when you hang up is great instead of tapping at a piece of silly glass..OH cant wait to get back to phone with design like clamshells or sliders..Apple ruined the smartphone market for me.

I would like to call the attention of CEO of Nokia,i have been a good supporter and follower of Nokia Phones since it has been started since 2000.

My super love symbian , you left it behind. We do not like Window OS.

Please work out on Symbian and bring it back to Life. Your sales will go back on top, that is something for sure.

I hope you realize and think again.

                        Thanks,
                        From Manila Philippines
