1989 nothinghappened, 21 Mar 2024Is the bandwidth also reduced like 7+g2?as far as I know it is not nerfed, full 4*16 bit LPDDR5X 4200 support. It is the first time that 6/7 series have flagship-level memory controller since SDM660.

    Cool chipset but ... considering Oryon-based cpu is just around the corner, i will drag my phone (which is in its last leg) until next year when 7+G4 or 8sG4 phones are released in the market.

        it is rare to see full camera hardware with OIS telephoto, metal frame, full ingress protection, monthly software update, super bright screen together on a mid-range device.

        for a daily driver I only need 778G level performance. I text, make phone calls, email, navigate and listen to music on my S23, also use it as a wallet. if Samsung release a device with S24 hardware but SoC replaced by a 7-series SoC I'd pre-order now

          Flagship body + midrange SoC >>>>>> midrange body + flagship SoC

          Giving 8 series to midranges is waste of money when extra cost coukd be applied on the rest of hardware

            Basically underclocked version of 8s gen 3.

            2.8+2.6+1.9 Vs 3.0+2.8+2.0

            Same X4, A720 and A520 cores on both

                Android companies dont want their mid range devices with very powerful SoC, to not steal sales from their more expensive devices.

                  MakeMotoBetterAgain, 21 Mar 20248s g3 now 7+ g3, this is so confusing7+g3 is based on 8sg3 ,its nerfed variant.

                  8g3 trades one A520 for one A720.
                  Also other stuff like gpu, modem etc

                          Just hoping both this and the 8s Gen 3 aren't limited to a few devices only. Same goes for the base 7 Gen 3 which is good as well.
