true...this is not the problem of samsung only...smartphone sales are down because people don't find it necessary to upgrade...the main upgrade lies in CPU and GPU these days...all other features are gimmiks, people are not stupid...and the upgrade in speed is only useful for games which are not the main attraction to most android users...

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2013you worng , you worng i'm not wrong. samsung need a better design doesn't have to be metal just be hight quality plastic like nokia,stop using the amoled screens the colors suck and you can;t see nothing out side. they need to fix there ui its a big mess its childish looking they need more clean and simple upgraded new ui. they need to fix the big lag on there phones. and then we can talk about the best phone for now its should be last because its not good enough to be number 5. Samsung has alot of problems they need to fix before they can talk number 1 spot.

I have always had xperias never galaxy nor htc but stop saying that it feels like a toy. I realy really didn't like the htc one's design better than the galaxy s4. It has glass on front metallic side and polycarbonate back. It's not so bad. iPhone users say it's a plastic toy when the iphone 3g and 3gs were all plastic and expensive as hell. Why do people think aluminium is the new standard? Even some premium cars are plastic nowadays. Anyway, almost all of us use cases for our phones so only the screen is visible and don't tell me that the amoled is not good. It has freaking infinite contrast and can be used with gloves. It's a far superior technology than lcd be it ips or not. And the pentile matrix is used on purpose to avoid screen burning in.

Phones are getting bigger and bigger and the term
mobility is blurring out. The gold standard 4+ inch screen is the best screen size for a phone. We are returning to the 90's where phones are jurassic. R&D should focus more on the battery life not on AMOLED screens and quad octa cores. Smartphone design is on its peak, therefore no place to go but down. Refer to the Bell Curve.

Samsung is clearly lying about those numbers bcos I've rarely seen anyone using s4 and personally its not worth an upgrade except you sleep with a pile of money as your pillow. Lower sales is obvious since many are getting tired of the Galaxy recycled design, losing its high-end identity to some of its Galaxy family members. I have a Galaxy Grand (less than half the price of S4) and people often think it's an S4 haha!

i think they were lying up to this moment, it's a bad device ( and i'm android fan ) i used to put my hands on SGS3 alots and i own a note 10.1 and both do better job than this shit S4.
i regret buying this shit to my brother.
