This is happy news.
I hate that Apple just automatically assumes everyone who releases an app has a clear plan/venture in mind, as if everyone is a businessman. Not everyone is looking to make money off their apps, and if their apps end up being very popular, then the developer is inconvenienced and has no choice but to monetize their app in order to pay the fees. So, I am glad that the EU is putting an end to this.
It's not common, but there are always those few developers over on Google Play who are very selfless and provide useful apps and ask for nothing in return. I hope to see more developers like them on iOS.

Apple has no "pizza" and everything is not theirs. An nope, developers should not just quit and do something else, because a giant ahole wants to extract their money like some kind of dictator. Apple does anything to protect their aftermarket and monopoly, and that's about it. So you see apple does not actually care about the customer, cares about their money as they see their monopoly being threaten. To protect monopoly with flying words is one, to believe it is another. But hey, you seem you got all figured out. Now move to nord Corea, it seems you will appreciate it there. We for sure will appreciate one less to access the internet.

Apps owners should understand that they should step out of the Apple platform. If apple dont have the popular apps everyone use on their platform then there wont be a point to get a Apple device. Let Apple do there own apps in their own platform like they have music and something more. Apps are like advertisers in a platform X (weird to wrote it like that as x can mean what ever like adding a digit for number) You cant exist without them and all popular apps owners are their own brands that apple dont own.
But well this needs education where there is video about it that goes viral like the one beer brand got name damage after doing x things.
For customer make aware that they have the power to change apple mind with the apps problems.
But well that is not something even in the wildest wet dreams.
Apple needs to have the best game and program on there platform that they own the studio of these best game and other programs. They then sell there games and programs on Android in 70% form features they have on there own platform.
