The European Commission is not happy with Apple's new app store rules and fees

25 March 2024
Apple will allow users to install apps from third-party app stores, but with the new fees this could cost developers dearly.

If Apple was based in China there is no way they would be able to have their insane business model. Or even Europe. But USA people eat advertisements for breakfast, and everything they're told in them will be their religion. That's what you get when you have so much money in the hands of such incompetent morbid people, they just conform to whatever is easier, even thought it costs 3x more money. That's also why Apple iOS is tailor made for their citizens and they love it so much. Of course Android is much more open and versatile, but why would a person use it when they can just pay a bunch for a phone that lets then live in NPC mode?

eu is pushing too many buttons at ones and disrupting their business model, and since when big companies like apple which own every aspect of their smart devices business has to be forced changing the rules who made their platform as it is now?no one is forcing people buying apples products only few pathetic devs cryed and eu makes a bow in return, its apples pizza not yours, they get the big piece and rest of you whatever they left-if you dont like it-make your own multi billion dollar company and then you can make demands

Apple are basically being criminals now, they refuse to comply with the EU and the US.

It is safe to already give the fruit logo company a 10% fine of their global revenue. Make it 20%, for good measure. They will NEVER comply and accept fair competition, they will ALWAYS try to bully their suppliers and they will ALWAYS try to make hostages out of their customers.

Lol, you don't say. The way Apple laid it out with absolutely ridiculous rules and restrictions makes no sense at all. They just made it the same, but with 500 extra steps.

I am not surprised to see this site censoring anything pointing out facts about Apple.

Apple is the new cosa-nostra on steroids. They need to be taken down.
"€0.50 for each first annual install per year"". There is zero justification for that. It's blatant antitrust to move everyone else's wealth onto Apple's own offshore accounts.

Man EU commission is standing on business they are not playing any games

"Amazon is accused of self-preferencing too – is Amazon pushing its own-branded products above alternatives from competitors? The Commission is looking into it."

True. So is with Google. I seen more of their results and not others when browsing
