    Apple is falling victim to their success in making long lasting phones. I have owned 12 Pro since its release and I remain completely unconvinced.

        It's size and weight are both advantages to me, exactly why I bought it.

        It's perfect FOR ME, and it's certainly not compact which is why it doesn't compare to the base iPhones and the likes of S23/S24, hence why I didn't want to mention it originally.

        I bought the 12GB/512GB from here last year in may, unused, absolutely not a second hand device.

          I feel like this is a very typical Apple sort of thing. Always feeling the need to give propositions towards consumers.

                I still have an iPhone 7 Plus since the day it went on sale and I believe I can squeeze the life out of it for another 2 years. This is the biggest advantage of an iPhone.

                  So they just proved that you don't need to upgrade.

                      I'm seeing a lot of talk about which Android people prefer, and it seems many missed the point of this total non-story.

                      Ignoring for a moment the fact that this is simply a company advertising it's products, something I don't remember as being controversial, but whatever, put it down to another slow news day I guess 🤷‍♂️

                      You lot harping on about your choice of a totally different (for now at least) platform is quite pointless. That there isn't a single comparison made in this ad page that isn't iPhone to iPhone should have been a less than subtle hint that Apple weren't going after the Android crowd with this one.

                      This is them simply wanting to sell new products to their existing customer base, shocking I know....

                              I love that site. While if you put something like the vanila 11 as a comparison it goes "its 4x better at this.." ect if you put the 12 pro max and compared to the vanila 15 they dont even compare the two and just say hpow "great the 15 is" in general. Nobody who owns the 12 pro max has any reason to upgrade..especially to the 15 vanila.....

But I do agree there are those with no intent on ever purchasing Apple products, who still just cannot seem to get Apple off their minds.

                                    Personally I feel quite sorry for such folk, having a tech brand that you don't even use occupying your every waking thought cannot be pleasant. Not to worry though, I'm sure a government somewhere will soon being suing apple on the charge that they are not paying rent in these people's heads........
