Apple really wants you to upgrade from your iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 to an iPhone 15

      Haven't some people just bought the iPhone 11? Why did they do that? Anyway, Apple now wants them to upgrade.

                DaFink, 26 Mar 2024Or.....those competitors can up their marketing game and st... moreOr.. maybe Apple should give more new and interesting features to their "Pro" models, so they could finally add BASIC features to their base models, like high refresh rate, and a 3x telephoto camera. There isn't enough difference between their base and Pro models, which is why they have to intentionally cripple their base models, and that's the thing that should change. Them setting up a whole page on their website just to convince people that their newer phones are better than their old models, and then listing the "Dynamic Island" as a selling point just emphasises the problem.

                  My GF upgraded from iPhone 12 to 15 Pro and didn't saw much of a difference, even in cameras. 15 Pro has better night mode and that's it. Maybe a better zoom from it's 3x tele. Also, she said that dynamic island is cool.

                  Battery under delivered, display too. Expectations were higher than the final product.

                    There is one thing all the previous models have that the 15 series doesn't, the Gold coloured iPhone.

                      All they ask for is an other lawsuit.Couple of years and Apple will be banned in Europe.

                            In any case, the way things are going it won't be long before someone goes crying to the government about how Apple are being anti-competitive in not actively promoting the competition over their own products, because that is the level of insanity we will soon arrive at.

                              People was doing it every other year upgrading their iphones but once they started charging $2100 for every iPhone Pro Max, people stopped upgrading altogether for many years leaving iPhones undesirable product for the most. Even those who loved the product started using them far longer than they actually did before due to atrocious prices (especially, outside USA). Career free upgrade and career subsidy gone, where users are made to pay the high prices upfront while shareholders laughing at their stock value! iPhone and Apple have been slowly and surely sliding down for few years and this only get further amplied in the further years where all their new exorbitantly priced products shall remain in the shelves of the stores and warehouses and not in the hands of the customers.
