vivo X Fold3 is the lightest book-style foldable yet, Fold3 Pro adds SD 8 Gen 3 and 5,700mAh battery

26 March 2024
There are two models this time around. Both use the same screens, but the Pro has the better chipset, cameras and battery.

Don't forget, those are the prices for the Chinese market. In Europe, they would be probably 50% more expensive. So yeah, don't get fooled, very expensive stuff! TOO expensive IMO.

That's the real deal... Well done Vivo.
      Good battery mAh to (ofc).

justasmile, 26 Mar 2024Nothing to save Samsung other than the name.and the durability which still remains the most important concern consumers have about foldables, but I'm all ears if you can prove anyone is better than Samsung in that regard.

Other than that, no argument on the hardware. Notwithstanding the screen size because that is a preference, this is likely the best foldable hardware-wise to date.

5700 mah battery is ridiculous. Samsung can likely do everything these foldables have done, but they have no battery innovation. I don't know why Samsung SDI is even getting paid. They're focus is on EV's.

Amazing feat. Would be fun if they released V purse like single screen phone with lower chipset like Snap 6 or 4

              What a beautiful beast

              A proper foldable

BBK giving W after W. Dont know what Oppo is cooking up but Realme needs their head in the game. All these R12 rebrands are not needed and will give confusion.

justasmile, 26 Mar 2024Nothing to save Samsung other than the name. And whether this'll be launched internationally. I so want that to happen, though, because the moment that this kind of thing can happen, it'll be a bloodbath that makes Samsung a whole lot less relevant. Honestly, Samsung needs to be so much more competitive if they want to survive or stay a major brand in the long term.

shut up and take my money.
literally cause im probay buying the pro day 1 on tradingshenzhen

Nothing to save Samsung other than the name.

That curvy back looks so good, I didn't understand what I didn't really like about the Z Fold 5 or the Find N3 in terms of the rear design, the flat look made them look more muted, curves are so much sexier.

The X Fold 3 looks kinda goofy compared to the more bad ass X Fold 3 Pro due to the cameras. But yeah these should be absolute bangers. The fact that the X Fold 3 Pro has the same sensor as the Honor Magic 6 Pro is crazy. It's kinda sad that the Vivo X100 was so nerfed that it has the same main sensor as the base X Fold 3.

The V3 chip on these phones is gonna do wonders no doubt, waiting for the reviews now, especially interested in the battery tests. Vivo has had the best battery out of the chinese manufacturers for a while now and a battery this huge is crazy.

Pricing for the x fold 3 is surprisingly good at 6,999rmb (€890) for 12gb 256gb. This is 2,000rmb cheaper than the x fold 2 which was 8,999rmb. It also brings it very close to the price of traditional slab flagships like the Xiaomi 14 ultra.

If the ultrawide used a bigger sensor, like the LYT-600, this would be perfect. The selfie cameras being bad doesn't even matter when the rear cameras can be used to take better selfies than the best normal selfie cameras anyway. Otherwise, the Vivo X Fold3 Pro seems like an amazing foldable, perhaps even the best one overall.

The X Fold3 Pro is the most impressive foldable yet, that's for sure, and with the biggest battery as well. Great work vivo!
