Where is the small phone, Asus? Most people are interested in either a small Zenfone 11 or another flagship altogether.

justasmile, 31 Mar 2024Normal ones? The A35 is obviously overpriced as it gets.Yeah, i mean compare the power, efficiency, battery life even, and camera quality... Nothing phone 2a doesn't disappoint. And the level of customizability in that phone is awesome. Whereas A35 is a standard phone which has "nothing" out of the ordinary. Not a good processor, not an appreciably amazing camera (i mean it's alright and yeah almost same as nothing's) and the battery life is also not bad.
Being a person who wants to upgrade from a Samsung note 8 (2017 for reference), both of these will be a big upgrade, and the more i think, the less i want the a35. Cuz what does it have to offer better than nothing?
Glass back? Sure that's a premium feel
Samsung's apps? Google has alternatives
Software support?... Yeah sure.. 1 year difference... Not that big of a deal.
(At this point i just feel like forcing myself to be optimistic 😂 but it's all true)
While the nothing's phone has alot more stuff. Share your thoughts on what options you think are the best comparing the phones with the standard as note 8, which would be the best shot for money

              This year's phones have totally missed the mark when it comes to that excitement factor with Asus phones. Also, prices have reached ultra flagship levels. Disappointment.

                Having identical product with Different name seems to only work with Chinese Phones (i.e. Xiaomi) going Global. What Asus did already foreseen going to flop since the rumors about this.

                If Asus want to go with Bigger screen, they could have revive there "Flip series" which has enough differentiating factor from big android crowd. But yeah maybe they don't have enough R&D now and this flop will both affect Asus and ROG line.

                  Always leave it to Asus to drop the ball.

                  Seeing how generic this design is, means the rumor of the Zenfone team getting disbanded was probably true. That would explain why the unlock bootloader service has been down

For asus customers ROG doesn't look fancy like a dude's gaming phone anymore. Perfectly fine look for a daily driver, makes Ultra redundant for the price. They should place it either as a flagship killer or in mid segment with lower price and spec.

It went into a bracket where better alternatives like Samsung exists. And a cheaper alternative called ROG is also there for their gamer customers.

                          Yes, I know brands will betray enthusiasts in the end but this is just lame.

                            Interesting...It literally ticks all the boxes (Well except for sd slot, but it's not like Galaxy s or iPhone has it), what makes people think it's not good enough?
